Currently playing The Witcher. With all The Witcher 2 discussions going on, i'd like to join in on the discussions. I'm probably horribly gimping my character skill and stat choice wise. But thats ok.

And I got my first boobie card by accident. :?

I've been playing Drakensang. It moves a bit slowly at times, but it's interesting in that it gives me a bit of an old school vibe while looking like a more or less modern RPG.

I'm really quite enjoying the game when I have the time to get into it.

Looking at the geoscape...
AIX 2.0 almost daily for like 7 months now. Always single player, cuz people are cunts and ruin immersion. In between? Disciples SC, Dune 2000, X-Com UFO Defense, and a bit of... gasp!... Oblivion! I tend to jump around a lot from title to title (I have over 200+ retail boxed in my closet), but mostly AIX these days.

I really want to play Wizardry 8, but the friggin thing is like $60 on eBay, on average. I can't justify the cost. I remember good times playing it on a friend's PC almost a decade ago. It might be just the years, but I remember that game being pretty awesome at the time.

Been playing alot of my PSP recently. The Monster Hunter games are among the best I've ever played. Phantasy Star Online 2 is also addicting. Who needs WoW when there are any number of other grind-able games these days.

Considering sitting down and finally finishing Avernum 3. I want to get back into the Vogel mood in preparation for Avadons windows release.

TacOps - Jesus fucking Christ, this game is cruel.

Falcon 4.0 - I have bough a full version and I'm preparing to start to learn to fly. The 400+ page manual is fucking awesome.

Metro 2033. love the atmosphere, hate the super-accurate enemies.

Become more accurate then. Or avoid fight with human enemies then, because thankfully most of the time stealth against those is a viable option.

I'm not that far into the game and already got into an unavoidable firefight. the situation: I'm in a perfectly dark corridor, crouching behind a huge crate. my enemy heard the explosion in the other room when I killed 4 dudes sitting around a fireplace (can't really stealth-kill all of them).
each time I even slightly stick my nose out to see whether this guy has changed his cover position I instantly get my face bulletstormed. the only option I have is to spray and pray.

sneaking around with throwing knives is still fun, though.

Nearing the end of The Dong Spire. The near-total sensory deprivation is a mixed bag; I love exploring and seeing what each room has to offer, but getting a quest telling you to retrieve x item which could be anywhere in the tower and take it to... uh, someone, they could be anywhere else? In the entire gameworld? Yeah, let me check and find out where I'm going, thanks.
Regardless, definitely one of the best RPGs of the last few years, and refreshingly only gets harder as you go on. Not sure I'm going to bother with the hidden floor/true ending, though.

Also playing a bit of Blood Bowl. Not sure if it's my lack of understanding of Kwanzanian football or what, but holy shit I'm terrible at this game. Can't even get past the second story mode mission.

Yeah, once aware of you, the enemies stay that way, which is more realistic than forgetting all about you 1 minute later.

Is The Dark Spire beatable without a party of dual classes as I fucked up on my character creation with basically all but one of the chars?

I wouldn't recommend it. Going through the sixth floor onwards with a party where only one person can cast arcane spells sounds like an exercise in frustration, whereabouts are you?

Kwanzanian football has very little to do with blood bowl.

If you'd like, I can compile a list of tips and litterature that'll have a new player curbstomping the AI in short order and PM it to you.

Attempting Gothic 3 (with fan patch) but the combat is an annoying deviation from the first two.
