Enjoy the Revolution! Another revolution around the sun that is. Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Pathfinder: Wrath I'm very into cock and ball torture I helped put crap in Monomyth
I had Arcade Paradise as a palette cleanser, but I'm now done with it. You run a laundromat/arcade, but as time goes on, the laundromat stuff takes a backseat, and you go full arcade. Not really amazing, or that deep, but it was a chill way to game while listening to some music/podcasts.

My next go-to chill game is Super Bit Blaster XL. Shoot stuff with your ship until you die. Get enough coins to buy new ships.

Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth is almost done. I'm doing one of the optional dungeons, but got wiped buy one of the last bosses. Got electrified by the boss, and he killed the main character, which means an automatic game over. I've never been a fan of this, but it is a retarded thing both SEGA and Atlus can have in their rpgs.

I have been playing Divinity original sin 2. It's been on my backlog for a few years. Enjoying that one a lot but the story feels a bit disjointed at this point, I think midgame at the moment.

The new Flight Simulator is great. Way better than the 2020 version on all counts.

Nice detail : when it is launched, your computer's fans make so much noise you really believe it's going to take off.

Ctrl Alt Ego is on a short hold for now, don't currently possess the necessary willpower to play big games.
Got distracted by a bunch of demos and small games like this one called Depths of Faveg that is all about combat and character building.
i1YZVVp.png

Still stuck at the penultimate boss and i am getting a bit bored because i can't find a different party composition that works other than 2 mages and a healer.

https://wabbaboy.itch.io/flyknightjam - FlyKnight is a pretty cool first person action game where you chop bugmen limbs. It was on my radar for quite some time as Dev is currently working on a full-fledged action rpg version that will have a lot more stuff.

https://warrrkus.itch.io/legend-of-the-blue-sword - super small metroidvania-like action game. Pretty neat.

https://menacingmecha.itch.io/mould-hound - way too minimalist and basic for my tastes

https://federx.itch.io/awoken - concept got me curious but the game itself is not that fun yet. Alpha build indeed.

This is a Resident Evil but turn based and you can shoot zombies in the legs. Demo has an entire police station for you to explore and is pretty cool.

It's kind hard to keep track of things that are happening on the planet surface and outer space at the same time.

And for the last notable game is this
https://tsveeble-mett.itch.io/plunderground - another Diablo 1 clone but with the main gimmick being AI companions that you can recruit, equip and level-up.
Made on Godot, very terribly optimised and crushes are common. Companions really love standing in the fire and acid puddles. Somehow still enjoyed it tho.
Also, Dev gave every female character huge tits and prominient hips, including the sorceress character you can play as.
TV3WTsd.png

I can safely conclude that the Dev is a Based person.

So would you reccomend the 2024 version? I've read some steam reviews and many were saying there's not much in the new one compared to that older one.

Haven't payed attention, are you having the whole setup for the game or playing keyboard/mouse/joystick?

I'm playing on an old xbox gamepad. Works ok.
It's difficult to recommend the game at the moment as it seems many users still have difficulties getting it to work. I waited 48h after launch before trying and did not encounter any issue but it seems very random. Game still needs some tweaking/polish and a decent amount of bug fixing so if you're not in a hurry maybe wait a couple weeks before diving, which I believe is worth it, since compared to 2020 :
- there are now 70 aircraft available in the basic edition (instead or 20 or so), including a few helicopters and fast jets, which the previous version was missing altogether.
- the UI is slicker, loading times are MUCH faster, the control binding pages now make sense and while it's nowhere as competent as DCS you're now longer actively fighting the UI all the time.
- there is a career mode that is ok so far. Good way to try new things - taught me how to fly an helicopter which I had never done before.
- the visuals are incredible. I'm in awe, honestly, on how beautiful the whole world is. The 2020 version was an impressive achievement and the 2024 one improved everything. I read on some forum it was making third party airports or countryside add-ons obsolete.

I don't get why many so many users are salty and dismiss the new version on content. While it's true the launch was a complete trainwreck, the game performances vary wildly for very similar setups and it requires a high-speed internet connection (biggest bottleneck from what I gathered), you can't fault the 2024 version on the number of flying machines, activities, airports or any other improvement. Biggest issues I found so far, to see if there's a dealbreaker for you :
- There is no longer a built-in flight planner. There's a well-made website to do it, and then you can input the route in your pilot tablet and setup your avionics from there but it's a miss,
- You can't save mid-flight to resume later. That sucks.
- At least one plane is broken right now.
Hopefully it'll be fixed. As you can see I'm quite impassioned with this thing and I find that it's an incredible deal but your mileage may vary.

"Real women" have "huge tits and prominent hips"? I suppose they do but mostly a few middle aged mothers. I don't believe Kabas and the author of the game had them in mind.

Call of the Machine seems to make autosaves at certain points in the maps, instead of just at the beginning of each like Q2 and the original expansions. I can already see that repopulating already explored areas with enemies is going to be a common thing from now on. It's the only way they could stuff as many enemies into a map without making the difficulty insane from the start.

Courtesy of Lord_Potato, I am playing Severance: Blade of Darkness. I picked the barbarian class, and it fits very well with picking up the limbs of your fallen enemies, and beating the crap out of them. Very nice atmosphere, and controls better than I thought an action game from 2001 would control.

I'm also playing a furry adventure game titled Tails Noir. Too early to say if it will be good or not, but I have a hunch that it will be merely okay. Doesn't seem like there will be much actual puzzle solving. Talking seems to be the major point. My first impression is that it at least have nice background/environmental graphics.

I reinstalled Football Manager 2024, and Championship Manager 01/02. I know what you may be thinking: Stop playing these damned games, and yes, you are right on paper... but! But! I have involved a few friends, and we are playing them in a new way! I am the only one actually running the game, and I share my screen via Discord. We chat, and they tell me what to do for their teams. It has worked surprisingly well. Also, I blame Liverpool for this. Every time things are going well for them, I get inspired to play these games. IN CM 01/02, I play as Perugia. They are basically 100% tipped to go down on every save file. On FM24, I am finally playing as Atalanta. One could say that it is my football manager team. They always have good young players/squads.

In Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth, I only have one boss left, before beating the game. In the end, I will have spent 150 hours on this one.

How's this "Call of the Machine" thing?
It's the new content added by the Q2 remaster, right?

Yes. So far it seems fun based on the Laser Eyes unit. You can play them all in any order except for the final one where you play as the titular marine called Machine, but there's probably some kind of difficulty curve at work. The Security Annex level has a lot of great enemy encounters, especially if you don't expect medics. The funny thing is that some enemy types in this unit are gimped, either by their maximum health or abilities. The berserkers have less health and can't leap, and the beta gladiators have even less. Apparently there's great variety now between the abilities of individual strogg, which keeps you on your toes.

Needed a short break from the LP and started up Tamriel Rebuilt mod for morrowind. Having a grand old time, it's even better than I was expecting. My only complaints are the inherent jank in the base game; stuff like alchemy and potion chugging being too good, stealth being retarded 'I go invisible in front of you, open a door and loot a chest while you watch' and the awful levelling system that compels me to stop what I'm doing and wander around finding trainers to make sure I gain 15 stats each level up without also wasting a bunch of skill gains. I'm sure there's mods that can fix that but my willingness to mod the game petered out after a dozen or so, and some of those are already introducing their own issues.

But god damn, I love stumbling onto a quest, deciding the person is an asshole, and having the freedom to just doublecross him, loot his house and fuck off onto another adventure. All RPGs should have this level of freedom and quantity of quests. I might even do another playthrough at some point with a dunmer to join all the slaver/xenophobic factions and try doing an ironman run or something.

Are those the medics from Ground Zero that can spawn enemies?
Incredibly annoying and should be your first priority to take down.

So far there's only been one regular one. Security Annex is the second level in this unit and it's already loaded with gladiators of both kinds (regular ones have normal health and seem almost faster than before) and lots of regular tanks. Also a giant berserker that has normal health but it too can't leap, and a giant mutant miniboss.

Jagged Alliance 2 1.13 again, i'm addicted to it. Trying IMP guy w. expert in shotguns. I always ignored shotguns, so i didn't realize flechette shells were so insane, fuckton of damage + suppression. The game loves to piss me off btw, having to fight 3 sectors in a row just to move my hummer away from gas station. Became so tiresome that i thought cutting the road through occupied Balime was a better idea. Next thing i know 15 retards spawn right on my merc squard in the middle of a firefight with elites. So i had to throw a stun grenade and then make them inhale some mustard. God bless this autistic masterpiece.

btw some interesting weather effects, i don't remember it in original

Reminds me of Boltgun, that ultramarine boomer shooter that came out a little while back.
I find its visual design really cozy, but unfortunately the gameplay just doesn't do it for me.
Oh yeah it's boring as fuck. Half of the game is sniping at things that can't snipe you back, and the other half is running around an arena fighting your 7th greater demon in a row.
I was never too big on shooters anyway, but I'd rather replay something like Painkiller or Clive Barker's Undying for that sort of supernatural action tbqh. Don't fault the devs though, I think I'm just not the target audience for it.
