I'm guessing the game has an isometric view in the world (school on fire at the beginning) and final fantasy combat. Perhaps they'll have C&C and lots of RPG character progression. It really does look like South Park: The Game rather than a game loosely based on South Park though, I guess that's good for fans.

No, it has a "side" view. It's almost exactly like the show. Combat's Paper Mario Style (the good ones). We know almost nothing about the C&C and progression, but according to early reports from back in december there's atleast some sort of faction System.

There's a reputations for each party member too iirc. And those rep meters have a fairly important role in the game since it's about the player being the new kid at South Park and making friends.

Yea, definately looks good. Definately feels like a South Park episode instead of a cash-in game. Hopefully effort in this is why the last season has been so lackluster.

It also has the woodland critters as enemies as well, with satanic eyebeams.

EDIT: Twenty bucks says being total friends with Cartman will give you worst possible rep with EVERYONE else.

It looks good, I might get interested when I learn more about gameplay and especially combat.

I don't like South Park at all, and this is still the best-looking game to come out of E3 so far.

Obsidian is a good game studio with talented people capable of making high-quality PC entertainment.

I am wishing every horrifying calamity upon them for creating this motherfucking piece of shit. They make this, they deserve to fold. Sell your soul to the devil, pay the price.

So, you're wishing them death because you don't like the franchise? But otherwise you're ok with them?

And how are Matt and Trey the devil?

So that would mean they are worse than publishers? Despite actually supporting Obsidian?

The butthurt here is really priceless

They contacted Obsidian first. So, Matt and Trey are definitely not the devil.

And in the end, the game might be fun. The concept is retarded, but nevertheless, one more guilty pleasure is not the end of the world.

But I understand Eyeball's butthurt. I would also wish Obsidian finishes this silly game and then start working on something serious. But if the next game is another AP, then fuck it. Shades of grey.

 You mean, like... something other than videogames?

No. Something like Arcanum. I need my dose and I waited way too much for it anyway.
