I don't really know why would you solely drop the plan, because Robust is in it.
Because I've seen enough of Azira to know where this is going. :M

If we bring Aria to Yuria, I'm certain that Erdrick should spend a few minutes to give her a few pointers about how Gyga-Verdant works in order to allow her to do more than to instantly vaporize her current attire. Or at least let her bring spare clothes. :M
Alternatively, can Aria and Runde learn the Invisibility spell? It is a somewhat simple D rank spell, their mana reserves should be able to cover that... no?

Aria has the ultimate GTFO technique. As long as she has her Verdant spell + Invis, she might be able to come out of some situations that would be tricky otherwise. And it removes one of the disadvantages of her Verdant, at least.

Oh, and Unlock is a must. Because the way we are going, sooner or later she will get caught.

Right. I forgot to consider the possibility that the "Anti-Monster Field" would get stronger the deeper we go into the temple. Naturally, it is tradition that the Angel will be chained right next to the emitter, deep inside the bowels of the earth, guarded by deadly traps and deadlier guards. Seeing this, I agre that we must leave the Grand Temple alone by the time being. We simply lack enough party members to do everything else and this quest at once with a reasonable chance of success: we would need Zayan for SCIENCE! support, Rin for combat/distraction, the twins to cover weak spots and Lucy to oversee the operation. However, even then this isn't enough: the twins might be affected by the "A.M. Field" if they happen to have inhuman ancestry (which in Aria's case is likely), turning them into a liability. Moreover, if we encounter The Priest at any point, we can almost consider the operation a failure already.

That's why I think we should switch going to Yuiria's Grand Temple for Ontoglia (talking with the Adventurers' Guild is fine though) for now. Once Zay has enough magnetite, she will able to assist us with extra firepower and gear, such as hazard suits to shield our party and maybe a magnetite-powered drilling vehicle to bypass the greater part of the enemy's defenses.

Additionally, even if we were to succeed, nothing says the Angel will be cooperative to begin with: considering their reputation and possible origin as weapons of war, he/she/zir might actually don't mind to be a slave of Methuss, as long as he's promised the chance to go wild and unleash carnage unto whoever happens to be the current enemy of the kingdom. Alternatively, he may not like being imprisoned at all and won't be too willing to talk with us until he's released, moment in which he'll immediately proceed to butcher everyone in his path (including Erdrick and co). Therefore, Ontoglia is the safest choice due its lack of unknown factors and possible dangers. And sending any goblin to the temple is a certain death for the critter.

Nevill, I understand your concerns, but it is unlikely Methuss would unleash their ultimate weapon in order to search for the missing ore. Same case for the adventurers' expedition: even if there's a reaction from the capital, unless the Kingdom felt there's something powerful enough to be considered an extremely dangerous threat, common sense says the angel will stay wherever it is until they believe the situation has changed. Granted, after we deal with the incoming incursion within our territory chances are the status quo will change, but by then we'll hopefully be prepared for such eventuality and be stronger/have more resources and manpower.

TL; DR:
These are the reasons why, after some consideration, my vote for the team assignments will be this one:

Yuiria – Investigate the Grand Temple for angels and Visit the Adventurer’s Guild for news on the expedition.
Team: Zayan, Arlin OR Erdrick?

Virtue Forest – Join Fortunio’s camp and parlay with the new bandits.
Team: Rin, Lucy, Petze, Robust; the Orange, Purple, Red and Pink Slimes

Ontoglia – Drop by the Governor’s mansion to broker a deal for more magnatite.
Team: Runde, Aria, Arlin, Erdrick?

Grahferde – Be on standby in case anything happens.
Team: Everyone else.

Choices: D: Relax>C: Go to Ontoglia with the others>A: Go to Yuiria, replacing Arlin and sending the latter to Ontoglia.>E: Go alone to Yuiria's Grand Temple during nightime, unleash one or two Thunder Dragon/s, watch the fireworks, then look for the Angel after the dust settles.

Well, see, this is what I was talking about. Unless you take Erdrick, you send Zayan in Yuiria almost alone, to talk to/spy on the Adventurers on our behalf.

If they ever get a glimpse of whom they are dealing with... Zayan is worth a lot to Methuss, and they are basically mercenaries.

Zayan is not an operative, she is a SCIENCE! support in case a plan needs to get complicated.

And if we take Erdrick off Ontoglia, we'd better do something more than talk to adventurers.

Edit: I believe the original choice between slimes/dryads/Yuiria offered Erdrick to visit it with 2 companions. Not 5, not 3, not with an army of goblins in tow, just 2. We opted out for a safer choice, but it was an option.

Ok. So far we have:
Azira, Elfberserker
Do everything!
Yuiria – Erdrick, Zayan, Robust
Virtue Forest – Rin, Lucy, Petze
Ontoglia – Aria, Arlin, Runde

Kz3r0
Angel Liberation Front Plan (ALFP)
Yuria's temple - Le Merchant, Rin, Aria, Zayan, Lucy, Arlin

asxetos
Do everything - modified!
Yuiria - Erdrick, Aria
Virtue Forest - Rin
Ontoglia - Arin, Runde, Robust

TOME, Grimgravy?
Skip Yuiria!
Yuiria - skip that trap
Virtue forest - Rin, Lucy, Aria, Petze, Orange (or any other color, except Pink)
Ontoglia - Erdrick, Arlin

Nevill
Do everything, modified.
Yuiria – Erdrick, Zayan
Virtue Forest – Rin, Lucy, Petze
Ontoglia – Aria, Arlin, Runde

OR

Nevill, Grimgravy?
Skip Ontoglia!
Yuiria – Erdrick, Zayan, Aria
Virtue Forest – Rin, Lucy, Petze, Arlin
Ontoglia - skip

lightbane
Do everything, do not come into the temple.
Yuiria: Zayan, Erdrick
Virtue Forest – Rin, Lucy, Petze, Robust; the Orange, Purple, Red and Pink Slimes
Ontoglia – Runde, Aria, Arlin

OR

lightbane
Do everything, do not come into the temple, modified.
Yuiria: Zayan, Arlin
Virtue Forest – Rin, Lucy, Petze, Robust; the Orange, Purple, Red and Pink Slimes
Ontoglia – Runde, Aria, Erdrick

archaen
Cow diplomacy.
Yuiria – Erdrick, Zayan, Aria
Virtue Forest - Rin, Arlin, Slimes
Ontoglia – Lucy
If we go by frequency, the most often common grounds are (double plans cost half a vote):

Out of 9 voters:
Yuiria – Erdrick, Zayan (7) - archaen, lightbane (0.5), Nevill (2*0.5), Grimgravy (0.5), asxetos, Kz3r0, Azira, Elfberserker
Virtue Forest – Rin, Lucy, Petze (6) - lightbane (2*0.5), Nevill (2*0.5), Grimgravy (2*0.5), TOME, Azira, Elfberserker
Ontoglia – Arlin, Runde (5) - lightbane (0.5), Nevill (0.5), asxetos, Azira, Elfberserker

With Aria being showed to the first choice (4) or to the Ontoglia (3.5). Of course, it's a Frankensten method of counting, so it may not really mean anything.

Guys, we are going about this all wrong. The angel is Methuss' secret weapon probably only used in dire circumstances. We just need to crush Methuss' forces into dust a few times and they will bring our beloved right to us and we wont have to worry about their stupid temple.

Good idea, needs a little tweack tho, we are an angel, sorta, all we have to do is flying over the capital city, gygadine something here and there and they will send our kin right to us hasta pronto.
Hence:
Revised Angel Liberation Front Plan
Fly over Yuria being sure people will see you, zap some palace to give them more motivation if needed.
Crew:
Le Merchant.
Rin as airborne support.
Aria and Arlin as ground support.

Guys, maybe we should skip out on Ontoglia for now. We can't have someone like Zayan going there given the circumstances of her departure, and it isn't a pressing matter; stopping the Adventurer's Guild takes precedence, and I'd prefer we don't try to do everything at once. Besides, AFAIK, we don't have any negotiating leverage to acquire more, and we don't have anyone to negotiate in our stead if we go off to Yuiria. Rin engaging in Demon Diplomacy does not sound smart.

Well, people want to use the governor's daughter as leverage in one capacity or the other. The problem is how to make him trust we would be able to fulfil our part.

Nope. Everyone has their own ideas. But there may yet be. Cow diplomacy is just too good!

Well, it's pretty obvious that the best candidate for investigating the temple is a human. Aria is the logical choice since Arlin was seen with us.

As for the other options, treave aren't the bandits sort of near Ontoglia? Is there some possibility of our taking them over and planning out some sort of grand heist of magnatite?

Going by purely mechanical count, we have this.

The most often occuring combinations are (double plans cost half a vote, so 0.5 means that a person has a combination set as one of their contingency plans; 2*0.5 means that any plans by that persoin include this combination):

Out of 9 voters:
Yuiria – Erdrick, Zayan (6.5 to 7) - archaen, lightbane (0.5?), Nevill (2*0.5), Grimgravy (0.5), asxetos, Kz3r0, Azira, Elfberserker
Virtue Forest – Rin, Lucy, Petze (6) - lightbane (2*0.5), Nevill (2*0.5), Grimgravy (2*0.5), TOME, Azira, Elfberserker
Ontoglia – Arlin, Runde (5) - lightbane (0.5), Nevill (0.5), asxetos, Azira, Elfberserker

With Aria being shoved into the Yuiria team (4) or into the Ontoglia one (3.5). Of course, it's a Frankenstein method of counting, so it may not really mean anything.

In Ontoglia Arlin has 6.5 votes, while Runde has 5.5 (due to combinations that include them separately).

Other notable votes include Slimes in Virtue Forest (3.5 votes).

If more people vote me would have a more reliable grounds for a consensus.

archaen has it. I find a clear wisdom in his choices. I believe Lucy would do slighty better if Petze or Runde accompanied her though, just to be sure she doesn't get lost. Everything else is ok by me, so I vote for his team selection.

They can go to Ontoglia from where they are but it would take a week or so of travelling.

If by grand heist you mean raiding their warehouses and stealing the ore they have stored up, the bandits would be pretty useless for that sort of thing anyway.

Well, plan B was for us to kidnap the mayor's hot daughter and ransom her back to him for a truckload of magnatite...

The way I see it, Yuiria and Ontoglia are mutually exclusive. They're both fairly dangerous and thus require stealth and the ability to GTFO. Only Mercant and Rin can GTFO. And like it our not, Rin will be de facto in charge of any expedition Mercant is not also on. I wouldn't trust her to handle either locale with stealth and tact. Try to do both could wel be reaching too far. Cow diplomacy is appealing though.

Clearly at that time The Priest was out taking the Angel for a walk/offsite to buy some groceries/spending his hard-earned break to have some rest. It would explain why the "danger factor" was low enough to allow us to get by with just 2 companions. That, or it was actually a bait. :M

Well, it's not like magnatite is the governor's to give away as he sees fit, so we shouldn't expect an answer written on the same advertisement board.

Howeve, the approach is too hilarious to pass up.

That, or it was actually a bait.
We are good at taking those. :M

So far plan archaen has 4 votes, which is twice more than any other plan.

Why are we sending kids to parlay with bandits, though? Unless they act strictly add advisors, I can't see them being taken seriously at all.

IMO Aria/Arlin are here just to keep an eye on Rin so that she doesn't accidentally kill too many people/executes the ones we didn't want to. The pretty princess is quite bad at that "not killing/being careful around others" thing.

Arlin, mostly.

He is the brains of the operation. He has shown himself more reasonable than the rest combined, including Lucy (who got duped into one of Rin's plans). That's quite a feat.

If he isn't taken seriously, there is always Rin. Their choice is either to deal with him, or with her. I am sure which one they would prefer after a quick demonstration of Rin's diplomatic skills.

If all goes to hell and Rin slaughters almost everyone, it will fall to him to put the remains together.

I am quite fond of my earlier idea of Arlin being a diplomat and an administrator.
