I'd be quite happy for Anabanana to roll up the characters himself along the vague lines of our original choices.

On one condition: Fuck Utarefson. Fuck him to death.

Since it seems like everybody's impatient to see the new shiny version 1.141 (yeah, they pushed out a hot fix to stop survivors from drinking too much), let's get started!

Moribund seems to have turned from being the resident bitch to being the resident whore. Dick picks up the slack in the hate department.

Relationships

The greener the better. Arrows mean that a survivor is prejudiced against the other person, and hexagons mean that both are prejudiced against each other. You can use rumors to control relationships, but you can only spread it about one person once a day, and it might backfire. If relationships get too low, a myriad of negative consequences might happen. For example, if you put two people with bad relationships on the same job, they might start hating each other even more. If a relationship gets too bad, your survivors will fight and injure each other.

Here are a list of rumors that you can spread about a survivor. Options are in green.

Connection: [Insert name here] and Survivor are distant cousins. They lost contact many years ago because of a family feud/their families moved apart.

Celebrity: He wrote an article for the local paper/wrote a book/directed a film that wasslightly/moderately/outrageously popular among poor/middle-class/rich, young/middle-aged/old men/women.

Charity: Through his work as a [insert occupation here], he was known among friends/featured in the local paper/interviewed on television for offering his services free of charge/at a discount to educated/uneducated poor/middle-class/rich people.

Activism: He was a member of/spoke at a rally for/was leader of the local/State/National Association for Concerned [insert occupation here], Occupation, and Occupation.

Crime: He was accused/convicted of committing a serious/minor crime. The victim was gay/a foreigner/racistandmale/female, which were/but these were not motivating factors.

Actions

Here is a list of all current possible actions and how many stars each person has for each. The more stars you have, the better you are at an action. The number of stars and the availability of actions will change depending on a variety of factors, and I will try to update you if there is a significant change.

Certain actions will have different options, which will be in green.

Search location for anything useful/weapons and ammo/medical supplies/food and ingredients/tools and scrap.

Assault. (You will attack zombies in and around the warehouse without entering for as long as it's safe to do so, before heading back.)

Dick 3
Yugo 3
Moribund 3
Alicia 2
Utarefson 1

Actions that are currently unavailable:

Clean up corpses. (Requires corpses.)
Rest. (Survivors will rest when they feel like it. To order them to rest, survivors must be at a hotel.)
Hold a feast. (Requires one large meal and all survivors at the same location between 6pm and 6am.)
Treat an injured survivor. (Requires a survivor with an untreated injury and appropriate medical supplies.)

In general, this team seems more balanced but slightly weaker than the previous one. So that's it, folks! Remember to vote for actions! As always, a general consensus is preferred, but if people are making suggestions all over the place, I'll just pick and choose the ones that I like, all right? All right. LET'S FUCK SOME ZOMBIES!

Wow, Moribund is a racist against Alicia  Must be an ancient rival tribe thing I guess :shrugs:

Diner seems cool to get swiftly some food. The church is just interesting because we were never there and the plant is useful for equipment. Weapons will be a big problem I guess.

Standard procedure would be searching the house we are currently in (and hopefully get some weapons). Additionally up to three could try to breach the diner and get some food.

A lot more risky it would be to directly storm the police station - all or nothing. If we succeed we would have enough weapons and a perfect operational base. To be honest I'm tempted to try it.

With what? A wooden spoon and a guitar? I'm up for it if you are! :troll:

(By the way, in case you're interested, the guitar is a new item that was just added this patch. It allows any musician to play a song and presumably calm people down and boost relations, heh. It has only one star for close combat and one star for assault, the weakest "weapon" in the entire fucking game.)

Also, I'd like people to suggest/vote for a rumor as well. I'd like to have at least one run without people trying to bash each other's brains out.

I just don't like the look of her!

I've tried breaching the police station at 6am on day one and it never goes well. It would be an amusing but short run. There's usually not too many INSIDE but there's always a large mob outside and they run right in through through the main door and that's it. Also, this party is not very good at breaching so we should be careful.

I guess we should keep it simple and search this house then breach a store and search it, to get some weapons before we try anything fancy.

All right, we finished searching the starting point.

RSEX4.jpg

We also have 8 cooking ingredients and 5 snacks.

Dick is getting along much better with everybody after I spread that rumor about him.

So where to from now? If Moribund wants to get to a store, perhaps we could breach the empty houses beside the diner, and then get into the store beside them? Or else would you like to breach the church and/or the diner, as Morkar suggested? Or perhaps we could combine those two ideas and breach towards the shops in the west, starting with the diner? And then maybe come back to take on the police station when we have more weapons?

Was the film I directed called "Million Dollar Baby"? :troll:

Ps. Voting to use Alicia and Moribund as sandbags a la Gran Torino.

Pps. Everyone wants to get closer to.... Dick. :yeah:

Ppps: I'll agree with Morkar but I'd make one change: Give Dick the gun (or whoever is best at using it, I think his sniping was best EDIT: Moribund has best snipe, but Dick has best assault/breach so, I'll apply that logic for now. I'm happy for Mori to take the gun if he's on patrol/snipe, for assault/breach I'd say Dick needs it), and explore/search the house directly NE of our location. If we clear the other house we might find some useful shit.

After that house, we can look at hitting either the warehouse, diner or church. I'd go with Morkar and say the diner. The house would likely be easier to hit first for some quick supplies though, before tackling something bigger.

We have plenty of food and food will stay fresh til you find it so there's no point in going to the diner any time soon. Doing a house on the way to store should be fine though.

All the houses are far away apart from that NE one, maybe then we could do the house->warehouse/factory (next door)->move west clearing the houses/stores?

Searching the NE house...

...complete.

GgNVh.jpg

New supply list.

Supply list continued.

So, where to now? Should we hit the diner from here? Or someplace else?

EDIT: Looks like you guys responded while I was updating. So where will it be? Factory, then to the house west of diner? Or straight to house west of diner? Should I assault the factory first, or just breach it straight up?

I don't want to be the only one voting. I'm not sure personally, it would depend on how many zombies were at the factory, I guess.

I'm happy with an assault for the sake of safety, but it has a lower chance of successfully turning into a breach, right?

Yup! In all my hours of playing, I've never once had an assault successfully turn into a breach, though it's possible if you manage to clear every single zombie out.

And I'll wait until more votes are in before proceeding, if that's fine with you.

Hmm. I'd prefer a straight up breach if the odds are in our favour, then. But maybe we need to scout it first? We could always split into two parties, scout the next house direclty N with one, and the warehouse NW with the other. Then from there, decide which to breach first. (Or we could just breach the north house now and then do warehouse before dark)

I'd just go to the house W of diner then do the stores.

There's no need to investigate if it's just a house or store and you are early in the game. 5 guys should have no trouble breaching those, and anything else you probably want more weapons before trying if you want to live, anyway, including factories sometimes. Really there's just houses and stores that are in the realm of reason ATM, especially when we have little ammo for our one decent weapon.

We could also do what I suggested in the first try before it crashed and investigate every single store to find what had a weapons cache then all of us breach it, but it's probably better to keep things simple until we have more weapons and ammo. Then if nothing goes wrong (hahaha!) the town will be our oyster, especially if we do the police station, too.

There are three stores in the SW corner, so chances are high that at least one of them is a weapons cache. Therefore, the most efficient thing we can do right now is probably just breach all the houses and stores to the SW, instead of wasting time investigating. IMHO, anyway.

EDIT: If there aren't any weapons in the stores to the SW, the fourth store is literally one house away from the west-most store. So we can just curve back up to breach THAT, and by then we should have plenty of weapons, food, etc.

*waits for more people to respond*

Ok, I'm with the Moribund SW house->3 stores breach plan. At least it should mean we accumulate alot of supplies and food quickly, if not weapons.

In general I would agree but I guess this would take too long to reach the buildings and properly breach them. It's already 12 pm. I think we should look at buildings which are next to us till we have some decent gear.
I would be for split up and breach the house north (2 people) after investigating and the factory west (3 people). We need to find weapons asap or this won't end well.

Sorry for the lack of replies, I was quite busy lately. I say we go to the church, for some reason whenever there's an apocalyse scenario, churches always have...Something of interest, to say.

PS: Many :bro: for whoever recommended Rebuild 2, it's quite cool for a Flash game.

Shouldn't we try get some weapons before going to the fancy stuff just for giggles?
