This time whatever we do let's just do one or two things in the first update. Don't go crazy this time

I guess whatever you guys want to do though I think we should worry most about finding weapons for first day (without doing something suicidal like breach police station on day one).

Seems like the immediate orders are to finish searching the current location before breaching the store north. Gotcha.

Moribund refuses to get along with other people, so I leave him in the first house to finish up the search while the rest breach the store.

Pssh, turns out there are just half a dozen zombies in the store. Since Moribund's finished searching the starting location, I send him over to the store to help with zombie cleanup. Should be a piece of cak-

Sigh Utarefson, your humanity is your weakness.

Well I'm pretty sure what everyones choice is.

Oh, let's just be nice to him. He'll turn eventually but we can use his skills in, erm,...library in the meantime. At worst we can send him to breach police station or hospital alone in a day or two and see how that works out.

FUUCK! We could sent him to a suicide mission He could offer us to search some locations away from us till the infection kills him the chopper arrives to rescue him. How are our medical supplies?

That image is broken. Does that mean a vote for "breaking" Utarefson? :D

:bro:

I bought this game because of this LP too! Otherwise I might have never heard of it!

You might want to check out the original Zafehouse - the presentation there is not nearly as good as this one though.

Zafehouse: Diaries's gameplay feels pretty unique to me. There's a game called Floor 13 which has similar strategic elements. The premise and execution is completely different, but if you enjoyed Zafehouse: Diaries, you'll probably like it too? I'm not sure.

Like send him charging straight into the police station, for example? :troll:

Eh, last I checked the starting point had two bandages and two painkillers. No idea what's in the store, though there'll probably be some there. Shops generally have them.

EDIT: Also I find it funny that people's reactions in the thread are completely opposite to their in-game reactions XD

Well, him being a librarian we can't deny him to spent his last moments with the things I'm sure he loves the most. He should take over the library!

All right, so to get things straight...

Lindblum and ironyuri are voting to KILL... Moribund and Morkar are voting to SPARE so that we can send him on suicide missions later...

I need a tiebreaker or for somebody to change their mind so we can proceed. :)

That's not a bad idea. And all the zombies should be librarian zombies so he might have a chance :D

You know, I wonder if having infected people running around makes for more infections. Usually if I get one guy infected the rest soon follow.

He will die in the lib before he can infect other people but this way we know how much are in there and he can soften them up or find a clue.

Lindblum and ironyuri Are you still for killing him?

Hmmm, I haven't found that to be the case in my playthroughs. Usually their fever just gets worse and worse and worse until they finally die (it's really not too bad since painkillers and antibiotics aren't all that hard to find), and then they try to attack people after they die. It's not a huge problem though.

EDIT: All right, library suicide breach run it is!

Doing what? You should have learned that it never pays to be unspecific when a dungeon master is around...

As instructed, I send our poor doomed librarian out to breach his natural habitat... with nothing but his bare hands.

Man, I was hoping he'd at least pick up some George R.R. Martin and bash a zombie over the head with it...

So, if you can stand the HERESY of playing a Flash Game, good old Rebuild 2 is a nice Soulless-themed piece of work.
A side suggestion is Survival Crisis Z, but that is totally different in genre while similar in themes - at least, at the beginning.

Or if you like 'dysfunctional group of idiots die a horrible and funny death' learn to play Dorf Fortress. Maybe that is a bit too ...insane.
And good luck guys. It seems you'll need it. Don't dare fail this time.
