How was that job application mod that kid made?
^ Seriously? I've had four. Two Black Screens (CTRLALTDEL to exit) and two just blank CTDs - not even an error message or a "Skyrim has closed unexpectedly." I also had the dreaded "eternal loading screen" a single time.
But I'm running with 129 mods, so I guess that is to be expected.

Mind explaining what this mod actually does? Or is it just "oh lol it magically improves the game" kind of bullshit Skyrim modders love to pull?CTD and Performance patch ENBoost
http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/38649//?
It's file of the year basically lol. Helps a lot on performance. Eliminates stutterings, CTD, etc. Only problem is that there are no good presets for the newest enb yet, must play with ugly skyrim again.

Is it possible to combine an overhaul (like SkyRe) mod with the alternate start one? As in, choosing something far from Whiterun and not being assaulted by 10 deathlords at level 1?

How does it "handle memory usage better" exactly? Because you know, there's been a large address aware fix around for Skyrim forever that also fixed memory use issues. But I guess this one is better because... what, it's "optimized"? Because it has the ENB stamp on it?It handles the memory usage better. And without it if you reach 3.1 Gb memory usage (heavily modded game) the game crashes, this fixes it. It works.

I used SkyRe and Alternate Start together. Good combo, was a pretty enjoyable playthrough until I hit the "everything is the same/done this before" wall of actual content. Only thing to keep in mind about SkyRe is that some of the humanoid enemies are dumb as fuck (they get player perks and talents, some of which can be absurd). Good difficulty level in general, with some weird spikes.

I'm under the impression that SkyRE and the like de-levels encounters, so I can't choose an alternate start really far from Whiterun (the more or less starting area of the game) without being fucked. For an example I tried a College run and was promptly assaulted by almost ten deathlords once I got to Sarthaal.
I was thinking if Requiem balancing was different. So... DraQ?

i installed requiem with skyrim nexus manager along with 20 other mods. i am not going to read every fucking manual for every fucking mode, the list of changes is simply too fucking long. you or some other moron in this thread said requiem makes skyrim combat harder and more challenging not retarded , thats the only reason i installed it instead of duels or skyrim redone, i am not as delusional as you to believe that you can make skyrims combat fun(its too fucked up on tha basics) just make it bearable . and yes i can still change difficulty level in game options, wanted to see if it makes any difference.DraQ deffending shit....playing on novice
Also learn to avoid getting gangbanged before you even try to fucking fight.
i have the same equipment and i know basic spells. hardly faggot in ragsThose guys are far more powerful than you by the virtue of being soldiers with actual gear, training and combat expertise.
so far requiem is as shitty as legendary difficulty from bethesda only with more faggots defending it with shit like "every fight matters" , "now even a bandit can kick your ass", "learn to block" when skyrim combat is fucking shallow lbm, block and shield bash. and you cant dodge in skyrim only run in circles to avoid damage
reading is hard?i played on requiem with different character and it was the same retarded shit, i dont need to finish fucking skyrim 7 times to now its fucking shit.so far requiem is as shitty as legendary difficulty from bethesda only with more faggots defending it with shit like "every fight matters" , "now even a bandit can kick your ass", "learn to block" when skyrim combat is fucking shallow lbm, block and shield bash. and you cant dodge in skyrim only run in circles to avoid damage

I also like how the combat is supposedly super simple to exploit, yet you can't get past the tutorial guys
Requiem generally adjusts difficulty to enemy type although actual relative difficulty of enemies will vary a lot depending on build, equipment and preparation. Is it possible to combine an overhaul (like SkyRe) mod with the alternate start one? For a more comprehensive depiction of enemy encounter difficulty, have a look at this list:
Low Level Enemies (managable from first level on, IF taken on appropriately)
- Animals (Skeever, Mudcrabs, Wolfs, Bears, Sabrecats, Slaughterfish, Horkers)
- Bandits
- Forsworn (If they're still human!)
- Normal Humans in general
- Skeletons, Armored Skeletons (if they're about a human's size)
- Baby Frostbite Spiders
Mid Level Enemies (might still be somehow managable from first level, but requires great amounts of skill and tactics!)
- Soldiers and normal Guards
- Draugr
- Most other zombie-like creatures
- Witches/Hagravens
- Trolls
- Icewraiths
- Spiders
- Spriggans
- Mammoths
- Fire Atronachs
- Ghosts
- Giant Slaughterfish
High Level Content (don't expect to have a chance against these without greatest preparations)
- Giants
- Vampires
- Mages
- Dragons
- Falmer
- Dwemer Constructs
- Werewolfs
- Giant Trolls
- Gigantic Mudcrab
- Dragonpriests
- Dremora
