Not sure why they don't make a Dragon's Dogma sequel instead, if they want to compete with Dark Souls. Dragon's Dogma was often described as a Dark Souls-like game, and now it's an established brand it should sell more in sequel form.

The "modern" logo is really fucking me up to. I really hope they don't pull some animus machine bullshit.

from what i recall they are making a dd sequel trying to put in the ideas that didn't make it into dd1. deep down is a different team with different people.

You know, if DD was made to be a "grim dark" Dragon's Lair but with more complex awesome button sequences (aka, no screen prompts, trickier timing), it could possibly make for an interesting game.

It's not REAL gameplay, but then again Dragon's Lair was a decent game and it used the non-gameplay elements of button timing.

Sorry, was under the impression Deep Down was being made by the same team as Dragon's Dogma. My mistake.

Fixed. :(

Because Capcom is retarded like that. Sorta like a senile grandpa/grandma that insists feeding their cat that passed away 15 years old.

"Oh don't worry, fluffy is out hunting mice. He'll be back for dinner!"

Meanwhile, capcom makes a iShit Breath of Fire 6 game that's also for the PC.

Already notice the significant downgrade in graphics?

First they showed us glorious tech demo running on PC, now they show it on inglorious shitty underpowered laptop CPU with last-last year GPU aka PS4.

Yep.

Not that I care about graphics that much. Performance is far more important to me, but the difference is very noticeable.

That may actually be in the works. Capcom released a statement where they claimed to be surprised by Dogma's following... after Deep Down's reveal.

Mind you, those people didn't know what they were talking about. DD is nothing like Souls.

They should have described the game as Skyrim-like.:troll:

I own a PS3 already, but DD: Dark Arisen is still 60-70 dollars around here... and PC opens way to mods and all that.

If they can expand on the gameplay concepts that Dark Souls brought to the table, this has potential.

Looks cool, but they really need to work on those animations. That knight holds his spear rather awkwardly and runs like he's about to shit his pants. I saw another trailer for this too, apparently there's some retarded Assassin's Creed-like sci-fi angle to the game. Was that shit really necessary?

At the very least, it's nice to see a return of the more traditional dark fantasy look in recent games. I can't stand any more of that tacky D&D and Warhammer inspired garbage.

The original trailer made it look like this was going to be party-based, but this one makes it look single-character only.

Did they say anything about that? (Sorry, I had to watch the video with no sound.)

I don't care about it's stupid theme, but it's gameplay. It's a multiplayer only game anway, so I don't expect AC levels of retardation.
