Can't wait for it as well. Preparing myself with Bloodborne in the meanwhile.

That 50GB hard drive requirement though.

Holy shit, is that for real? God knows what it would be like if they used colour. I gotta get me a physical copy. Fuck downloading all that.

Is any one interested in doing a fight club? Maybe collab for some coop or something. Would be nice to get in before the metas start rearing their monotonous heads.

It's what the Steam page says. Also, there's a good chance that the boxed copy for PCs is just a slip with a Steam code on it because how many DVDs do you need to fit 50 gigs on?

The 50 Gb of space is just during the installion. I think this is a new technic that the developers are using. The games are so well compressed that when you are installing it, there are a lot of temporary files ocupying your disk. For exemple when i installed Dragon's Dogma it sayed it needed 50 Gb of space, but after the installion was complete it only ocupied my around 17 Gb if remember correctly. It was absolutly the same with Rainbow Six: Siege. And for exemple GTA V only ocupies 60 Gb, but during the installation it requires 100 Gb.

As much as I liked Bloodborne and in some ways it has the most things I like in a Souls-like game, I'm not really liking how similar to it Dark Souls 3 is looking.

It's probably been said already, but that city with the two bridges looks to me like a Yarnham alternate reality rather than a new, unique city. Here's hoping it'll look better in motion.

Yep, it looks like a Bloodborne prequel set 400 years or so earlier. When the screens initially leaked some people were even speculating it was a Bloodborne sequel or a game that ties together the setting of Dark Souls and Bloodborne. (which it still could do for all we know, but unlikely) Of the four games, Bloodborne is my second favourite after Dark Souls, but I'd still rather see them remain distinct and not have too much feature crossover.

Is this common now? Civ 4 was probably last game I physically bought. Don't they sell them BlueJeans or whatever the consoles use? Took me 3 days to download Scholar :(

DJOGamer PT thanks man, good point. Shoulda thought of that. Still. Crazy stuff this modernity nonsense.

Graphics: Yeah, Im not a huge fan but the armour/weapons look fucking gorgeous.

Phantom Range. This needs to stop. I was having fun with a pew-pew until he brought out his woo-woo. Nasty, nasty business.

I wonder if they feel like it's mitigated by the fact Bloodborne is a PS4 exclusive and therefore the Xbox and PC players won't be familiar with the reused assets, hm..

That's got to be one of the more meanacing versions of True Colors I've heard.

Game looks a bit more like Bloodborne than Dark Souls to me, tbh.

Didn't like the music, but overall the trailer looks good, although I'm hearing some people say it looks way too much like Bloodborne (some stuff even seemed lifted from it). Is that really true? I hope not. I didn't play Bloodborne because I don't have a PS4, but it's the only game that made me actually want it, lol.

Edit: wtf posted some stuff here when it was meant to be in the DS2 thread.

We haven't seen any dark areas, or poisonous/lava etc. I hope that the game is as big as DS1 and 2 and not like Bloodborne, which was relatively small.
