Do they plan more dlc after this one? Remember something akin to a "roadmap" years ago that mentioned several dlc.

But yeah, the wiser thing would be to abandon this. I don't think anything short of several dlc that are intrusive and expand on the actual main gameplay would get anywhere close to fixing it.

That said I was entertained enough by the main game and will probably play it again with dlc.

Disclaimer: I played the "next-gen" bugfree version and not the original release.

PC RPG Website of the Year, 2015 Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Divinity: Original Sin 2 A Beautifully Desolate Campaign Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath
They've said it explicitly that this will be the only epxansion DLC for Cyberpunk. Likely there will be one more patch after the DLC and then they'll leave the game as it is.

"Cops now chase you!" - but for one scene / quest exactly.

"There's vehicle combat!" - yeah, just like the in the base game with the first van chase, I expect.
What I've seen from those who have played Phantom Liberty says you're mistaken. Some new cars have weapons built in and cop chase are now much more involved in general.

They're too busy with the sequel to work on more big DLC for 2077, but they might still release small ones. Based on what the patches have been doing, I'm expecting some "armory" DLC that will add weapons, weapon mods, armor and other stuff they can just add to the loot tables.

I still don't get why GTA shit like vehicle combat or a better police sim are important features in a RPG
I would prefer a bounty/rep system like in New Vegas, or Red Dead 2. Cheaper to add, and it would make sense lore wise. Mow down enough civilians and you get hit squads sent after you from time to time.

It's not an RPG. Or is it? Not even CDPR knows for sure.

And blame CDPR for that. They were the ones hyping the fuck out of their open world action adventure game.

You still haven't figured out that this isn't an RPG?
Well, it has at least some CoC so it would be difficult to argue that it does not have at least some RPG parts. Could its RPG parts be better? Yes, which makes it all the more baffling that even people in this thread demanded vehicle combat for months which adds nothing to the RPG part of the game.

Styles bullshit again? C'mon, they just repeat themselves from 2019. Besides, this "styles" was nothing more than "just pick up random shit and put on yourselves". LIKE IN EVERY OTHER RPG GAME.

That trailer is from 2020.

Well, shucks. Another problem with CDPR - long, bombastic marketing campaign, slowly stacking trailers in a tower of neon turd.

You still need a wanted system if you want to implement it like Red Dead 2 did. New Vegas only sends some hit squads after you and inmediatedly makes entire sections of the map hostile unless you're disguising yourself, which I don't think would fit that much here since who isn't a criminal in Night City?

The only way to do it properly would be a real faction system with vertically integrated parties and mechanics. Ironically, adding police car chases to Cyberpunk 2077 is only going to make it more annoying - the crime system was already a pointless pain in the ass, now it's just going to be a pointless pain in the ass that takes longer to get rid of.

Can't say I ever committed a crime that would cause the police to show up in my 150 hours of Cyberpunk 2077.

If NPCs don't wanna get murdered, maybe they should press the gas when the light turns green.

The advantage of playing on a PC that was barely minimum requirements, full pedal to the metal due to the population density turned to the lowest possible.
