What game are you wasting time on?

No kidding about one AOW scenario taking as long as single player FPS playthrough. I spent the whole weekend on a single scenario from the Good campaign. It is comprised of 3 stacked levels = 1 above ground, 2 below ground with complicated mazelike connectivity. Not to mention the tunnels you could create yourself using digging units. very fun.

EDIT: AoW is a completist's nightmare. ;)

Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Codex Year of the Donut I'm very into cock and ball torture
I tried Shadow Magic once, but the maps were SO LONG. The first scenario is incredibly huge. And I finished the entire AoW 2 with all its already terrifically long scenarios in its campaign.

Still, on day I think I'll be patient enough, and be in for a great game.

Armored Brigade, Firefight, Transport Tycoon Deluxe. I work most of the time I'm not in school, so I have to limit myself to games that can run in background. Also, no wasting of time is involved.

Over there.
MOH done (mostly suck with a little good sprinkled in), back to Mafia 2 and on one of the longest shootout levels in the game yet. Stuck. Pissed. Deciding to waste some time in the free Everquest 2. Fuck it, it's free.

I bought Batman: Arkham Asylum and Numen: Contest of Heroes off steam just because they were on sale.

I played the demo for Arkham on the PC and it was alright... I think. Can't really remember. Not sure about Numen but it was £1.60 so it won't be that much of a loss if it sucks.

Installed PC version of Earthworm Jim.
Getting raped badly. Didn't complete even the first level after 3 tries

How did I manage to play and even complete arcades on Genesis 15 years ago?
PC version is also superior. As always.
Smooth animations and CDA OST by Tallarico = awsum

Downloading AOW:SM from recommendations in this thread, other than that I'm waiting for fix to my NV problem so I can finish main quest.

Played Batman on medium difficulty, and realized I was kicking everybody's ass way too hard so it wasn't fun. Switched to the highest difficulty just to see what it's like and the result of the very first tutorial fight was: OH DEAR GOD GIVE ME BACK MY ASSHOLE you bunch of bald dudes FUUUU-

I still haven't made it through that first fight. Mind you, my popamole skills are shit, but this thing is brutal on the highest difficulty.

Never heard of Dead Premonitions. Never played Dead Space, but apparently it has at least good atmosphere. Dark Messiah is a fun slasher with light RPG elements, probably the best thing to come out of Source. The first few levels are annoying, but it does pick up later on. Gameplay does vary a lot depending on which "class" you go for. Some of the level design in the later game is pretty good. Kicking is waaaaaaaaay overpowered but otherwise fun and makes excellent use of the physics engine. It's not bad if you're looking for something entertaining without being too taxing, and Skyway likes it so that alone makes it worth a go.

Playing Jagged Alliance 2 for the first time (well, second, but first time I played, I didn't play it for longer than 15 minutes, I think) :salute:

Also, CD-Action finally got useful and attached Dark Messiah on its cover DVD, which is p. cool, since I wanted to try it out lately, but couldn't be arsed to dload it. Gonna install that soon, I guess.

And dammit, finished Lionheart: Kings' Crusade on saturday. A shame, really, it was a p. cool game, and the Saracen campaign was a lot better and harder than the Crusader one.

Actually Silent Hill 2 suffered from the same malady and it had the same great effect - unnecessary frustration.

Dead space is a fantastic game.

No it's not. It's not a bad game, but it's absolute mediocrity. As soon as the beautiful graphics stop dazzling you and the fun of the cutting laser wears off, you should realize that the rest of the weapons are crap, the scares are cheap and the story is incredibly mundane.

It's best redeeming features: good atmosphere, zero g-jumping (once you get the hang of the EXTERMELY crappy zero-g controls), and severing mechnics (which gets old after a while).

Which leaves you with atmosphere (that only goes so far) and the extremely annoyingly loud sound effects...

Yet, I liked it. It wasn't fantastic by any stretch of theimagination. Heck, I liked Prey more.

Wasting time on multiple games now. New Vegas as my primary, which I enjoy greatly. Wizardry 8, which I also spent some time on is fucking awesome, but I sometimes need a break from the combat which can get to samey.

In between I play a little League of Legends with some homies now and then.

I recently dropped Civ5, it's not worth my time yet. Also have a playthrough of Might & Magic VII lying around which is nearing the end.
