Hot Dam its over 450k now, this thing might actually happen. My worry is once all the oldschool fans make their pledge it will dry up and they might struggle to get to 900k. That being said, 450k already is pretty amazing.

Even if it only reaches half a million, that's pretty good. Developers would have a pretty good idea how much it is possible to raise with crowdsourcing for an old style turn-based cRPG. I think it's possible to make a pretty good game with that much money. Maybe not Fargo and his team, but someone could. To Vince, half a million would be a fortune.

I might prefer it if the game is TB in its entirety. Playing Neo Scavenger reminded me of how much I've missed that kind of play.

Anyway, I want to donate to Codex to help with the effort but it's already over $1000, enough for NPC/location/item spot and I don't want to donate for nothing without knowing for certain that we will hit $5000, that there are enough of us here willing to do that. Otherwise it will be pointless.
