Why would you do that to yourself?
That quick slide or lunge @ 2:15 is this new 'swooping' thing ?

I didn't see it was 6 minutes long... and then there's that feeling of facing things that you know it'll be bad for you... like looking down from the last floor in a tall building.
But DXHR had revolutions!Eidos seems to have issues with games that have discriptive names. First Tomb Raider lacks tombs to raid. Then Hitman spent most of his time running away and hiding. And now you don't have to play as a Thief in a game called Thief.
New trailer:
I don't know what to think of it. I'm almost certain that the level design will be lacking, just as the AI, and I already hate that they limit my movement in the game. Yet, it seems that you can really ghost in the game, you have a lot of gadgets to use, so at least it have some Thief good ness in it. Maybe in the hardest difficulty setting, it will be tolerable.
Pretty much this. The game will be an average Dishonored clone at the very best. The irony is that I can see hints that it could be an OK stealth game if they ditch the thief franchise and renamed the game. Looks like they're trying too hard to undo all the bad decisions they made in this game so it kinda looks the old thiefs, but they did that too late, about a few months before release. One example is that although there's 3rd person takedowns, looks like it can be deactivated, like many of the stupid camera angles. There are some scenes in this trailer that sadly really looks like thief, but then again, when you see "explosions" or big columns falling and destroying the enviroment in a cinematic way, it's disgusting and makes you want to vomit.

I find the analogy of biting into a piece of high quality chocolate only for it to actually be a pile of horse shit to be a more fitting analogy.
"you lost your protege ..." yea i knew that, lame way of emoshunal engagement "and your memory..." WHAT!? They're gonna throw in an amnesia story too?!
Wow...this looks even worse than I expected.
Seriously. Not once in the entire trailer did I see a spot of darkness.
Garret is so used to the dark he can now see in the dark. It's a perfectly plausible explanation.
New trailer is up, a bit more informative, than the previous ones:
