It was my understanding that the delay was entirely due to THQ going under. When that happened Ubisoft bought the rights to distribute the game and they decided to delay it so it would fit into their predesigned release schedule. I don't think it's due to the game not being done, but I could be wrong.

Looks good,.... for the presented Xbox/Controller version.

I hope they used the extra time to get a suitable pc interface in place. (In Battle at least)

Seeing Obsidian forced by market realities to develop shovelware like this is depressing.

If this shit requires U-play it will be a no purchase... forgot about that. Pretty sure I have only bought 1 ubisoft game ever and that was from GOG.

I think it will come with U-play. Just hope it will be less annoying than Steamworks.

Buy it for supporting the devs. Play the torrented version. Problem solved.

Looks like something one'd play in hangover. No too much thinking, nothing serious, light hearted, cheerily colored. I think I might get this.

I thought the combat would be turn based but JRPG style. Why would they make it so you have to press a button when your character is swinging their weapon? That's so dumb, and not really a fan of the destructibles. But they did have some good ideas during that sequence.

It's the way the handheld Super Mario "RPGs" are doing it. It's ok, but not that great.

Or don't play it at all, to send the message for devs to stop making shit games on stale IP.
Obsidian will definitely stop accepting paying work if enough people band together and send them a message, good call
Yes, it is not like they need money to work and live. And that South Park IP? Pffff, it's just one of the most popular IPs in the world at the moment. Who wants to make a game about that? Stale IP.
