I'm a bit miffed it'll only hold two fighters. Three seemed like the perfect number.

That said, it's clearly badass enough as-is.

Now the only thing missing for this game to totally blow my mind is - let's say - a missile-heavy Battlecruiser. The moment when one sees all those multiple ports open, then fire a full broadside from long range. The only thing my enemy can do is to watch as death comes for him.

So we can watch C beams glittering in the dark near the shoulder of orion.

Of course. Whats the matter with you?

Starfarer and Caterpillar are appropriately spacey.
I like how Starfarer looks powerful, heavy and bulky like a bull. I bet i can ram that thing into something else...

- They are monetazing the shit out of this game though... -

I'm not sure I can blame them. They need only put 150 Idris Corvettes up for sale, and hundreds of thousands of dollars appear within ten minutes.
As part of the livestream, we are making an additional 150 Idris corvettes available for sale starting now. This second set of corvettes is not the fully-equipped military assault model available during the earlier event, but a stripped down peacekeeper version aimed at having less of an impact on the initial game balance.

Surplus sale! The United Empire of Earth’s Exploratory Services is retiring patrol-model 150 Idris-P corvettes which have seen hard service on the frontier. These ships will be available for public sale, with funds received going towards the ongoing SynthWorld project. Please note that all corvettes are the lighter model lacking the spinal mount turret emplacement. Buyers will be responsible for towing and equipping any craft purchased.
Yet people are still buying them like mad.

yeah, yeah... ive seen it.

man... roberts doesnt know how much market he is missing. hear me out.
All he is doing so far is for boys. spaceships, rockets, lazors, pschiuum! fussh! bam! bam!
right?

what he should do is design various house-cleaning mechanics onto bigger ships, so the girls can have their own gameplay.
Tiding up the cargo bay, cleaning the living quarters, mess hall, even the deck and command center for extra C&C,

all while you are trying to pull of various stunts, actions and missions in space.
Shouting .."Loooad the missiles womaaan, load the misssileeess!!!" .."Shields on port siiide, PoooorttTT!!1!""

kinda, like a nice domestic environment.
