I didn't read every page but it seems that many if not most people here agree with some if not all points mentioned by Roxor, so what seems to be the problem?

Just someone wanting to be an edgelord. Also 'I' read every page, and it is entirely as you said, most agree with some if not all points Roxor made. I also read about 18 pages of that obsidian thread, and it seems like there's more people there who doesn't care about Roxor's opinion based on ad hominem. The only thing I 'will' say is that the obsidian forum dweller's arguments seem better defended by argument exept for a large amount of them simply dismissing Roxor's review.

If there's a forum that is decline it would be something awful from what I've read on here.

Is it really ad hominem calling Roxor a retarded butthurt basterd? Because in my mind it is merely a realistic description.

How can something decline when it was already at the lowest point from the start ? SA goons should have stuck to reviewing weird hentai games and acting like they're offended while spending countless hours playing them still.

I do think Josh might be slightly 'touched' with some degree of autistic behaviors and thinking patterns.

As someone who has lived with two different people who have both been diagnosed by specialists as having Aspergus I would say that I don't think Josh is an Aspie. Aspies don't make so many mistakes.
Edit: we would also have a game which favoured the completionist

ah, thats true.

Its not rare at all in BG1 or 2, I understand how he means it now. I actually wish it were much more rare in most RPG's. I guess in PoE it may in fact be more rare, its just not that special or interesting. Or more to the point its convoluted because of the no hard counters and because it feels like it is being managed too much to make it 'blanced' or something.
If you want an RPG with rare magic check out Age of Decadence.

Defiantly am, I just am waiting until Thursday-- don't like playing early release stuff. I have played the combat demo and seen enough to know that I will enjoy the game I think.

Age of Decadence and underrail are the two RPG's I am waiting for most at the moment.

I have Age of Decadence in my wishlist.. waiting for an 80% sale.

Still better than WL2 though.
No.

Yeah, I too don't understand why people vote for games I don't like. It's like they do it to spite me or something.

I read a couple of pages of the thread in the Obsidian forums regarding Roxor's review. Funnily enough, most of the posts are Obsidian fans agreeing with the review.
Sounds identical to the reception here. Unless you're counting every irenaeus or broseph post as if it were from an individual poster.

Good things i did like about game: some very puzzling quest choices (like questgiver in Temple of Eothas OR hunter who killed his friend, in first villlage). Also first act was very solid: Eothas dungeon itself, starting sequence, talk with dead animancer (probably best convo in game).

Infravision and Detect Evil are my favorite spells from the IE games. Man, they're useful!
they included them because they are in P&P D&D, but then created zero in game uses for them. In reality a creative developer could easily come up with some interesting uses for each of these spells. In fact its a great idea and I think would be happily received if somebody did include some uses for such a spell. It is easy to imagine how detect evil might be used in some non-combat situation to create C&C, yet nobody ever did it...that is not the fault of D&D or the magic system.

It is the first act and its purpose is to promote the game!
After iterating Act1 over and over, it is possible that OE knew that the game actually needs more time...

I'm gonna blow your mind and point out that the order you encounter game content in is not the order in which the developers made it, i.e. Raedric's Hold was one of the last things they made.

Jesus Christ. I don't know what's worse, people getting butthurt on the Codex over a review calling a mediocre game mediocre or the revelation that the Codex will play ball for previews and swag and really developers please come post and enrich our poor forum with your insights. Shouldn't have been unbanned. This forum hasn't accepted Creamy in to its heart at all.

The worse is that a masterpiece 10/10 game was reviewed by a butthurt clown.

Creamy would be sad.

There was one Paladin Quest in BG 2 where you needed Detect Evil; in an umodded Game I liked to spam the Spell with my Paladin (they could use it 3 times per lvl IIRC) to get some Hints what Monsters where in the Area (unmodded the Spell has a wide Range). Oh, and in one House in BG 1 you could use it to expose a guy who stalked two Girls.

PoE fans seem more butthurt about the review than critical Codexers are butthurt about the game.
The Codex is feared, it seems, even when fractioned.

No, you Obsidianhaters are way more butthurt about Obsidian creating a masterpiece 10/10 and you, like babies, don't want to acknowledge it. Now you got this retarded "review" which could have been "written" by a 12 yo and are feeling smug like the pathetic insecure manbabies you are.
I'm not an Obsidianhater. I don't even know who they are, apart from Sawyer, and that's just because of his retarded "enlightened evolved concepts" of gaming which he publicizes himself.
You on the other hand seem to be pretty invested on this thing, but good for you, we all have to live for something.

You sound butthurt.
You're rapidly becoming the most annoying poster in the Codex.
This right after converting to Sawyerism.
Pretty telling.
