I'm quite happy with the fact that it unlocks at 4pm GMT on Thursday. It means I won't be tempted by that "take the day off work" faggotry.

I have an exam on Friday :negative:

Yeah it's mediocre.
yuuup. i like the combat themes, but the main one is... the composer had ideas for several cool bits, then nailed them together however he could.

e: i feel like if i knew anything about music theory, i'd be able to explain this better

Grace Slick was hot back in the day...Then old lady fatness stepped in and raped her. Same thing with Stevie Nicks...and the Heart sisters.

So you don't have to install any risky steam clients to download them any more?
I don't engage with people who are intentionally obtuse.

I feel like ignorant grandparent now:) Sorry for bothering I guess.
As people obviously use different definition of DRM free, it's confusing. I don't want to engage into that - was only genuinely interested whether it works or will work as Desura, at least for some games (i guess the answer is no then). My only experience with steam is with PoE BB. After reading that the linux client is still pretty buggy, rather installed it in virtual machine for downloading Beta.

Apologies if you were actually sincere.

You still need the steam client to download the game and patches. Once that is done you can play the game without the client.

Is there an official solid UI being made or was that a fantasy I had?

I'm certain a dev posted about making one.

Thanks a lot, I see that is probably what is meant by "Launcher-free once installed" in the list you posted. This was also my experience with BB.

Don't apologize, even when I was just confused, you may still be angry on me for not seeing the need of client for downloading as drm free. I understand people are tired of flamewars...

That's the main theme? It sounds forgettable at best. I know they can do better than this because I quite liked the MotB theme.

I think the main theme is actually quite good. It sounds like something Basil Poledouris would compose on his lunch break.

Project: Eternity Wasteland 2 Shadorwun: Hong Kong Divinity: Original Sin 2 Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag. Pathfinder: Wrath
Lets compare it to Bioware's latest offering.

Obviously we're going for two very different tones here.

DAI: truly generic, epic fuckyeah music
PoE: subtle, melodic music, which is unique amongst the soundtrack offering of modern games. PoE sounds refreshing, DAI is just another epic music. Don't get me wrong, hearing DAI really pumps me up, and I get into a fuck yeah, kill some shit mood. But that passes away quickly. Listening to PoE on the other hand puts me into a comfortable mood, where I'm relaxed and I feel good. Just like the IWD music for example. Now I'm not saying that they are on the same level, but they give away the same vibe. Thus PoE>>>DAI

People whining about the theme again? Didn't we do that last month? I'll repeat what I said then: http://www.rpgcodex.net/forums/inde...er-keys-available.93694/page-329#post-3736974 +M

I think it's been improved since then, too.

Nwn2's theme wasn't slow or subtle. The problem isn't with the pacing, the problem is that it just sounds bland.

This isn't a great theme but it's not bad either, just typical bioware mediocrity.

The DAI theme is actually a hymn in the game as well. There's a wonderfully cringe worthy moment where every member of the cast breaks into faith inspiring song and your character just stands there looking at them like they've lost their minds.
