  • 10-15 h for main quest, 50-60h for side quests
  • 4 chapters
  • half open world with obstacles such as level of a river or road blockade
  • no play after finishing the main quest
  • 5,6 game ends, about 10 falloutlike slides for states for of the a world
  • main quest is quite linear
  • only few quest are fetch quests
  • exploring single map takes 20-30 minutes, and walking from side to side 1 minute

Potatoes trying to boost Witcher sales.

So a Blunderbuss it is then.

Can those be dual-wielded or some other cool abuse of game mechanics?

Since you're making a cipher, take the talent that increases damage as long as your focus is below maximum, since you'll obviously be using the blunderbuss to fill up focus.

And penetrating shot to mitigate the DR which is applied on all 8 blunderboss shots.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
*sees Morrigan*

I'm triggered. This has to be a joke.

EDIT: Okay, those aren't PoE portraits.

Yeah, too many of them are actually attractive. That should've given it away almost instantly but I'm the eternal optimist.

So, is this game worth it? Don't want to check out this huge thread.
I mean I'm satisfied if it is better than Original Sin.

All this SJW talk makes me nervous.

Got bored and left

All this SJW talk makes me nervous.

There's, like, 50 different genders to choose, you'll love it :troll:

For real, though, I'm optimistic. Don't know if it's gonna be better that Original Sin overall. The writing is freaking bound to be way superior, however (though that's not saying much). Wait for tomorrow and the wave of hype/butthurt/whatever, I'm sure there will be plenty of opinions :)

wowowowoah! you don't get experience for killing? that's damn awesome. the only game i've seen that did not give exp for killing was Witch's Wake expansion for NWN and it worked really great. I'm happy they did this.

the moar i hear about this game the more i want to play it

Grieving Mother's portrait reminds me of something but I can't remember about what, anyone got any idea?

the big detailed eyes looking kind of down on you and the raised chin form a pose that 90% of npcs from VTMB used when waiting for an answer in dialogue. there isn't one that looks exactly like that but that's where the deja vu is coming from.

Hm 10-15 hrs? Sounds super short....Then again whats more worrying is Sensuki saying the map is pretty linear...

10-15 hours can be several things:
A) He finished it once, because appearantly he knows that side-quests can be 50-60 hours too. Then he rushed through it on a second playthrough (Which he can easily research or see on Josh's pictures of his save files).
B) He met an early ending on 10-15 hours.

It is a bit surprising that he's so broadly vague about the playtime. Did he play it? Sounds almost like he's just guessing, in a way, instead of saying "My playtime was X hours". Then again, I can't read polish so he might say or explain that in the article *shrug*

maybe they cheated though, or played on easy lol. josh sawyers playthrough was at like 60 hrs at act 3, and he's beaten it multiple times.

Maybe the same retard who gave King of Dragon Pass 1/10.

So as a backer can I only get either GOG or Steam key?
Yes.

Is there any difference between the two other than Steam DRM?
The games are identical of course, the only difference is in delivery service. Steam: auto-updates, DRM. GOG: no-DRM

Yes, GoG is shit. Enjoy your patch micromanagement and patch delays. People never leran...
Eh, kids these days don't know how to install patches.

Actually, that reminds me. On the Obs boards the devs eluded to the only guy who beat the game in the week they had to play found a short ending, and I thought i read there were like 6 endings possible, but don't remember where i saw that...

It's not like gaming hacks journalists have ever reviewed games without playing them more than an hour or two and lied or pulled shit out of their asses...oh wait...
