Is there any info on how the GoG version will handle patching?
I assume as usual, you download and install every patch seperately, if that's what you mean.Is there any info on how the GoG version will handle patching?
Yeah, same as always. Patch goes up for Steam users, wait a week, then go to gog and hit the download button.I assume as usual, you download and install every patch seperately, if that's what you mean.Is there any info on how the GoG version will handle patching?

So glad to see Obsidians hard work finally pay off. I have no idea what #1 on Steam actually means in sales numbers, but it has to be huge right?

It means it's the most purchased game at the moment. Quantifying that figure is a different matter entirely. It's certainly not a bad thing at all. Just the extra amount of people who see the game because it's number one and then go on to buy it will be a difference maker.

Interesting. Does anyone know how quickly Divinity:OS got to #1, and how that turned out sales wise?
Exactly. 1 Week in top 3 and we can call it a success. Not a huge success, but let's say ~300.000 copies sold.Personally I think the bigger indicator of success will be how long it stays in the top ten after reviews and release date. At the moment this is all just pre-orders.
The result of 40000 backers unlocking their games on Steam. It was smart of Obsidian to wait until the last day to hand the keys out.

Actually, keys don't count. The result of 40000 backers unlocking their games on Steam. It was smart of Obsidian to wait until the last day to hand the keys out.
Speaking of which, I'm predicting solid reviews for a crpg. Especially since mainstream youtubers such as Angry Joe will reach an audience that doesn't pay attention to this genre.

300k copies at full price is $10m. 300k copies would be a huge success.Exactly. 1 Week in top 3 and we can call it a success. Just as a general note to no one in particular, I always find launchers annoying. I double clicked the damn icon, start the game already.I was hoping for a launcher, like The Witcher games have. The (potentially) delayed and frequent patches keep me on Steam when it comes to new games.
