Works for me.Are dlc broken? Don't see any of the bonus portraits on character creation.

Well he said he had two things in life: his family and his talent for storytelling. When he lost one he turned to the other one. Either that or he could commit suicide.i felt the opposite.
there is this guy that fucked up his whole family with his words, curses himself with lycanthropy and almost gets his village fucked up too but is beaten and sent away by baron.
and thanks to the beating he received Ivar miraculously recovers from his melancholy and decides to become a fuckin bard.
Does not make the whole management less of a chore or pointless. It just takes too much time for the amount of "fun" it provides and also it hides so much info about choices you need to make.
Ho bros, how badly is this still broken? Can I play it and not risk death from internal bleeding?

No. The combat works OK, but everything around it (and there's a lot) is a mess.
This review covers some, but not all, of the issues pretty well.
I am OK with living with consequences down the line but not the immediate bonuses and penalties that you get. Those need to be presented before you make the choice. Otherwise they are just forcing us to savescum when it is some stupid result.Does not make the whole management less of a chore or pointless. That complaint is just you wanting to control too much. It's a good thing, make your decisions and live with the outcomes based on just what you heard in dialogue. Nothing wrong with that, sometimes hiding info is a good thing (playing Fallout which you recommended, remember?)
That's some old news. It's in better shape than POE2 will ever be. I can partially agree with this review (500 hours - do not recommend - LOL) last chapters are kinda bad (House on the Edge, but true last chapter is Ok - you meet people you helped during the game etc)Ho bros, how badly is this still broken? Блядь.
Guess I'll give it a while longer to settle down. Thanks for the intel.
Much of the critique in those reviews is valid, yet even combined it's not enough to warrant a negative review, imo. Yes, kingdom management could be more fun and more deep, blah blah, but it's not that bad either, especially if you consider the budget they got from ks. And that can be said about pretty much everything - and overall the game is more fun than not. Serously, 300-500 hours and a negative? Come on.That's some old news. It's in better shape than POE2 will ever be. I can agree with this review (500 hours - do not recommend - LOL) is that last chapters are bad.
The effortless kingdom option is probably a good reason not to have end slides based on kingdom stats...What is really lacking is the diversity of spells (it might be loicense-related though, not sure), complete absence of crafting (not sure if buggy NPCs can count as a substitute, and some items like the Mirror Bow or the often-mentioned Irlene rod are too OP, also crafting in the PnP seems to be seriously imbalanced) and game's devolution into the VtMB sewers after act VI. People who don't like the card game can just switch to effortless kingdom to do what they want without bothering too much.

What the hell? Doesn't storyteller take all such items? The only thing that comes to my mind are incomplete set pieces, but surely after 500 hours he would know that.Special Items that say a collector will pay well for them? There is no collector. (not talking about storyteller items, the other stuff he doesnt want but says a collector will pay for)
Nobody sinks 500hours into something he does not like. That review while got some valid point's is dishonest drivel by some autistic moron.No. The combat works OK, but everything around it (and there's a lot) is a mess.

Just noticed this interview was written on september, 3 days after release when the game was a buggy mess. Guess he kept playing after that but never bothered to change the review. It's on a same level as those: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198008783876/recommended/640820/ 600h total 110 in two WEEKS!!!!!
Dear Pathfinders,
we have an important UPDATE for you today: we have made the decision to move the release date of “The Wildcards” DLC to next week. The last two months have taught us a good lesson – it is always better to take some extra time to make sure everything is ready, and we feel like we should not rush our first major DLC.
To ensure we deliver the experience and quality you deserve, we will dedicate additional time and effort to “The Wildcards”. We hope you can understand our decision - it was not one that was made easily, however, we believe it was the right one. We are very sorry to keep you waiting. Thank you for bearing with us, and thank you for your patience!
