Are you sure about these cleric/domain spells? It seems many of them haven't been implemented in the game (yet). For reference, here are the cleric domain spells: https://www.reddit.com/r/Pathfinder...me=Pathfinder_Kingmaker&utm_content=t3_9ldyh7
and general cleric spells: https://www.reddit.com/r/Pathfinder_Kingmaker/comments/9kt4zp/cleric_spell_list_patch_103/
I picked community domain because it's the least bad of the options that can be taken together with Animal domain, necessary for the animal companion. I would have preferred to take Glory/Strength from Gorum, but I think getting an animal companion as a tank/DPS might be more useful when playing solo.
Wow. No Storm of Vengeance? Ok that is kinda balls actually.

Well, Energy Drain is quite good. And Summon Monster IX. But I kinda see your point now.

Yeah, the cleric spell list is pretty limited at the moment, outside of some nice buffing spells. If I wanted to make a caster cleric, I'd probably go with Ecclesitheurge, which is bugged right now, or just play Wizard/Sorc.

Enlarge person is a targetable spell, you can cast it on anyone. But I don't think you can cast shield on your companion, for example.

Yes, but Enlarge Person doesn't normally work on animals, but should work on your animal companion thanks to
A druid may cast spells on her animal companion even if the spells normally do not affect creatures of the companion’s type (animal).
Ah, now I get it. No, you can't cast enlarge on your animal as a sylvan sorcerer (haven't tried the druid yet). Don't get me wrong, the sylvan is an easy choice, because early on the pet is very strong, but later it's the additional powers & spells that matter, and there are more interesting bloodlines.

Big patch delayed until October 22, no act 4 until then RIP
This is a bit disappointing and why such game breaking bug was not caught during beta-test is a mystery.
I begin to think there was no beta test. Or everyone was drunk during the time.
You cannot even only blame the devs here. The publisher is usually reponsible for QA, but in this case Deep Silver didn't seem to do anything. All-around strange.

But, hey, on the other hand there are more than enough games at the moment to wait a half a month longer.

Yeah, there are many games which would help in waiting, but still, it's really strange.

Any thoughts on giving Linzi Martial Prof and taking Eldritch Knight levels?
They're going to keep hotfixing, though. Looks like 1.05 fixed quite a few things.

How are people Building Jaethal? I have taken a dip in two handed weapon specialist for proficiencies, but not sure If I should go back to inquisitor.

I gave her Dazzling Display, and pumped Persuasion to help her debuff. I'll probably give her Heavy Armor

I don't really rate Arcane Trickster though.

Why don't you like Arcane Trickster?

I'm a stats whore and love melee, so I'm playing with this build:

Aasimar

Starting Stats: 18-13-12-10-10-18

6 Paladin
5 Fighter
1 Sorcerer
8 Dragon Disciple

Power Attack + Cleave Feats, Outflank, Heavy Armor Focus, Thoughness, Dodge, Dex increased to 14 (Heavy Plate + fighter armor increase to 2 DEX), rest in STR.

I like the heavy STR focus (+4 from DD, +4 from increases), CHA and diplomacy for speech checks, some minor spells from Paladin and Sorcerer (buffing focus).

A little bit of realism here, please.

Want to play a dex/int sword saint monk. Wondering how to go about it.

Short sword for flurry and the touch cantrip would give me 3 attacks at a -2 at lvl 2. Charisma or wisdom + int + dex + shield + mage armor + defensive crane style and free Dodge feat.
Plus evasion.

Would really need an agile short sword tho.

The requirements to access the class are too strict, and the class itself doesn't give enough to justify what you lose.

It's probably possible to make a decent build. Probably.

If you want to combine Monk with Magus, Eldritch Scion is a far better choice.

Something like this:

Paladin 2
Monk 1
Eldritch Scion 17

Race: Aasimar (Musetouched)
Str: 11
Dex: 19 (+2)
Con: 12
Int: 10
Wis: 07
Cha: 19 (+2)

Equipment:
Armor: Robes
Weapon: any Weapon Finessable

Feats:
1: Weapon Finesse
3: Deflect Arrows, Dodge*
5: Spell Focus: Evocation
6: (Arcana) Wand Wielder
7: Spell Specialization
8: (Bonus Feat) Metamagic: Heighten
9: Outflank
9: (Arcana) Enduring Blade
11: Wings
12: (Arcana) Hasted Assault
13: Crane Style
14: (Bonus Feat) Spell Penetration
15: Greater Spell Focus: Evocation
16: (Arcana) Arcane Accuracy
17: Crane Wing
18: (Arcana) Ghost/Devoted Blade?
19: Crane Riposte
20: (Bonus Feat) Greater Spell Penetration

This build is a little outdated, I need to redo the stats as I realised I don't need Int 13 anymore. Also I'm still pondering on the feat progression. But you get the general idea.

Edit: updated ability score distribution.

Dragon Disciple is so bad, though.

Not trying to shoot down your build, but it could be optimized, that's all. Don't let that stop you from enjoying it, though.

By the way, how are you casting your Sorc spells while in Heavy Armor?

Though considering the archeologist doesn't seem to be getting any special abilities or feats at level 19 & 20, unlike most classes,
i know but then caster lvls give spell dc :negative:
Caster levels don't give increased spell DC.

Spell DC is calculated as follows:

10 + spell level + ability modifier + misc modifiers

Example: if you have 18 Int and cast a level 5 Wizard spell, the spell will have DC 10 + 5 + 4 = 19.

The only time caster levels gives DC is if it's a special ability that functions off your level rather than the spell level (probably because it's not a 'spell' at all). And in those cases it's not caster level, but class level, probably.

huh? someone on dex told me it does. For sure im not staying pure now. Now is the question whether i go 16 or 18. Also screw bows/xbows, will probably go part grenadier
Alchemist barely has any offensive extracts anyway...

The level 20 Alchemist reward is really good.

But there is a good chance that by the time you reach level 20 the game will be almost over. I wouldn't think too much about all the level 20 skills, more about if multiclassing is worth slower acquisition of skills/spells at lower levels. Though I might be wrong and you reach level 20 when there is still tons of content before you. No one saw the end game, at least not on the Codex.
