Camelot also doesn't really make sense. Someone over at their forums think the Xs are consonants and periods are vowels. Doesn't make sense any other way, unless they're using two letter words.

It could be written in arabic because the lazy sandniggers don't write down non-long vowels :troll:

Insert Title Here RPG Wokedex Codex Year of the Donut I'm very into cock and ball torture
If it's that way then it's got to end in TH or TS.
I can't come up with any franchises that end that way and fill in the blanks, so... some fantasy name they came up with for a new IP? Or some NPC's name the game is named after?

:mystery:

Edit: Nice catch, epithets fits-... but they don't have the rights, right? Though maybe it's just a nod towards the inspiration of the game that was then transplanted into a new setting?

:more mystery:

Well, for what it's worth, the second fragment reminds me most of Prince of Nothing. Hope that's not an influence since I'm not a fan :M

this is where project x comes into the game - it's a crossover. the black hound married with the setting of defiance to get rid of all the dnd references :D

Josh Sawyer's NWN2 Black Hound mod wasn't going to use anything D&D related, not even rules.

Ooh I like this, I like this a lot. The silly hype and everything. Things like this make me happy to be an cRPG player. :)

I can only dream...

As long as Rance stay PC only... (Maybe even Obsidian could codevelop it :smug:: In *knowing* the teaching of Zerthimon my hyperweapon has grown bigger -MCA.)

I still want to see Avellone's take on the Mass Effect universe. :(
I just realized I would absolutely love an Avellone RPG set in the Star Trek universe during DS9. Especially the early years before the Dominion shows up. Political intrigue, racism, the threat of war, all the other civilizations worried about being culturally absorbed by the Federation.

Was there a reason for this decision?
He didn't want to make a Forgotten Realms fan-fic and was always against it being "Baldur's Gate 3." He also likes to make his own systems. Here's a post he made about the changes he was making to weapons and armor: http://forums.obsidian.net/topic/45749-the-black-hound-faq/page__st__260#entry806600
