What kind of emulator you use to run this gem, ghostdog? On ZNSES 1.5.1 I have sometimes strange blinking of interior textures, thought it happens every time in bathroom.

I'm saddened there's no more bloodnet, but a good Adventure LP is more then enough to make up for it.

I'm using the snes9x emulator. I think it's generally better than zsnes and it supports more games than zsnes.

CRADLE UNDER THE STARS



We've learned something from out previous endeavors. Scissorman can pop-up like a jack in a box form anywhere, the garage is no-good for hiding, and we can't really escape from Clock Tower, not unless we learn more and try to maybe do something about it.

And maybe we will.

Further on we come across some statues and a patched wall. I think this is of use if you find the scepter (as mentioned in the previous chapter) but in this playthrough there's no scepter.

Yep, Mary Barrows. Now we know that Ms. Mary is not only one of the family, but also the true owner of the house and probably Simon Barrow's wife.


On the wall we can see counting marks. Obviously from that poor soul in the corner.

So was it coincidence that brought Jennifer to this house ? Was it a twist of fate, a call from her father's spirit, or did Ms. Mary specifically tracked her down ? Maybe we'll find out eventually.

And this "Cradle under the Star" phrase came up again...

Let's get back to the library now. Since we've got the Lantern maybe we can have a look in that dark crevice :

A copper key. There are some more loose ends to tie up. Remember that first room with the crack on the wall ? Apparently we can use the rock and break a hole on the wall.

If we go back to that room, we'll find it empty. In an alternate reality you may find the black robe here instead of the storage room. But for now, let's examine the glas on the table.

To tell you the truth that's how far I've actually gone in the game. I've been playing a bit with previous saves trying to see what alternative routes can be found and what other premature endings can be obtained.

Start the game and try to leave in the car 3 times (without seeing your friends die).
