I did that...
I did that...
Also did anyone else notice characters vocalizing the PC's name? Please tell me I'm not crazy. I could've sworn at some point someone said my character's name ("Liz") out loud in the game in a dialogue.
Yeah, there's like a list of names that the house robot from the beginning can say. Todd is on it, naturally. I fucked up by naming my character Alison instead of Allison, though.
DO EEET AGAIN!I did that...

But when you open the door at the bottom of the shaft, you're still blinded by intense daylight.
Bros, they're making a gazillion dollars. Deep breath and cope. Don't worry, though, InXile will be doing Fallout: New Orleans.
What? Since when was combat the main aspect? In fallout 1&2 the main aspect was the interactivity with the communities you encountered along the way. Most of the time you had the choice to avoid combat and take the kiss ass approach or whatever skill check popped in the dialogue tree.I'm 9 hours in and am enjoying the game, sure the writing and story is not the strong point, but gunning enemies is great, and that is what this series is all about. Fallout series combat was always its strong point. Even in Fallout 1 and 2 combat was a main aspect.
When someone is underground 200 years i would expect and kind of natural light source be 'blinding' to a poor eye sight.

Watching a few streams including Phage my conclusion is they had no idea what they wanted to do with this game. It's worse than FO3 in the sense that they took time away from designing 'content,' places like Tenpenny Towers or Paradise Falls, to add this awful Minecraft component. I believe they said it wouldn't be a big part of the game and/or could largely be ignored. That's like when WoW developers said Garrisons wouldn't be a big part of WoD. I'm guessing around half the 'content' of this game is building these stupid bases... it's like all of these shitty early access survival games on Steam. Why is this part of an open world shooter?
Funny part to me if how shitty the walls and floor look. Why go to all the trouble of tearing down semi decent looking buildings to build this crap when you could just living in one?
I ran into a nest of raiders and found that it was a bit of a challenge to take them all on. Lucky for me, I didnt have to plan an attack strategy or something like that. I just went home and got into my walking tank armor that the game gave to me 10 mins after starting. Oh and they gave me a freaking minigun aswell. They didnt stand a chance.
Almost had to do some thinking there!
This reminds me of playing Doom with cheatcodes back in the day
Fallout 4 is the first game in history to dethrone dota from 1st place on steam.
Todd you are a king, not even GTA V managed this, Gaben is yours.
If this is the trend, then maybe for Elder Scrolls VI we can expect a decent Severance: Blade of Darkness successor?

It makes no sense whatsever. Any sane person would use a reasonably well preserved building and just maintain it instead trying to build something up from junk from the ground up.
