Holy shit, $1,000,000 is actually looking possible at this point.

still 1/4 of the total accumulated therein to go. In one day. I don't think so. 800k looks go though.

Unless a catastrophe like announcing it will come out for consoles and tablets happens 800k is a lock.
But they could get $200k from the new potential console and tablet players :troll:

I wonder if they would release however much of Divine Divinity they put into the engine and let modders finish it. I'm trying to play the game for the first time now and while there's some great stuff, I keep finding the ARPG combat tiring.

It's need SEVERE tunning for a remake. One thing is to kill the entire dungeos in real-time diablo combat, the other is to go into turn-based combat for every goddamn little skeleton that lives in there... not to mention is way harder in TB, as kiting monsters is a viable tactic in those games.

I would assume they might be assessing the cost of doing such a mod and the associated costs (and if they can afford to make it). And do please think about this Larian. A turn based Divine Divinity would be a sweet Expansion to DOS. But if you don't think you can do it, that would be cool of you to release what was done so far to the public and see what the community can do with it.

Oh, an expansion would be awesome. I'd easily throw $10-15 bucks at a Larian produced remake.

So, I can't wait til the Kickstarter is over, so I can start annoying Larian with real gameplay critique when they're done buzzing around being little marketing bees. ;)

When I first saw this, I wasn't too interested, but after seeing a few videos it looks totally kickass. Probably not a good idea to spend my shitty minimum wage high school job money on kickstarting games that will come out in a few years, but YOLO, I can throw down 25.

Don't ask Larian to make fucking remakes damnit! :x Those games don't need it, and Larian especially shouldn't use any resources to rehash their older games. They should use the money to improve their next, new games.

Well, in case of DOS, it will hopefully come out at the end of the year.
