Norse mirror games are one of the funniest of those, due to high bashyness and at the same time low survivability rate. I had such a game a few months back, my opponent utterly destroyed me in the first half, most of my guys got up after KO, and utterly destroyed him in the second half :D

Draw at one touchdown, two broken necks, lots of knockouts... it was a fun little game :D

DR said he could play today but I haven't really heard from him since then. I won't be able to play before monday otherwise.

Hoverdog destroyed me in our match, killing three of my players in the process (I saved one with an Apothecary, the two that remained dead were Goblins, fortunately). It ended 2-0 in his favor. If I stayed focused and actually paid attention to the interface, maybe I could have scored a touchdown. Maybe. Unfortunately I was like blind child in a fog, surrounded by alligators.

Radioactive alligators.

So yeah, Hoverdog played much better. If not for his luck with Bonehead and Wild Animal rolls (his big guys failed around half of these), the score difference would have probably been even higher.

The one good thing is that the MVP did not end up on one of the dead guys, so there is some hope for the future. I also managed to win in casualties (3-2), thanks to my Troll being rather bloodthirsty and only failing one Really Stupid roll during the whole game.

I forgot about our match today and am unfortunately 8 hours behind Grunker's timezone, which gives us kind of a shitty window to play. I'm still good to play for another 10 hours or so but I'm guessing its going to be too late for him soon if it isn't already.

'Twas a really funny game.
I won the toss, and chose to kick. A pitch invasion downed 4 or 5 my players including ogre Boleslaw Bierut and both of Mico's throwers. As the ball went deep, there was noone to pick it up. I moved closer, had a couple chances of downing the ballcarrier, croudsurfed a goblin (dead) and got surfed in return (stunned). Finally a marauder got the ball near the td line, went down after a blitz, but Bierut was close enough to clear the place up (killing Nog the rat - apothed to BH) to make Gheorghiu Dej the dark elf retrieve the ball again and score in turn seven. Turn eight found two my marauders badly hurt.
Second half was even more messy. It's really hard to describe, but imagine all the players of both teams clusterfucked near the LoS punching and kicking one another, with ogre failing his bonehead and ballcarrier being stomped only to have the ball somehow catched by a nearby marauder (it happened two times in a row - on a roll of 5 and 7). It came to an end in turn 13 or so - Mico's ranks wore thin enough for me to blitz out with my ballcarrier. The goblins that were left weren't enough to stop him and I scored on turn 16. The last action of the match was Warpstone Troll eating an unfortunate goblin.
2:0, 2 casualties for Bierut, mvp for Grechko (no lvl-ups); and also 2 casualties for Grand Nagus Zok (warptroll) and one for stormvermin Liquidator Brunt, plus MVP for Ishka the thrower and two dead goblins.
