I think a normal Round Robin like in the Cyanide Tournament will serve us best. Especially if we start with fresh teams.

I'll apply today, if I can find out how.

Well, for starters, starting with no rerolls is suicide.
I did so in the cyanide tournament, and while I had won the first game thanks to immense luck, it bit me in the ass later.

I think i'll apply with a Chaos Pact team.

What are rerolls? To be used in case of a poor important roll?

Each team may have an amount of team-rerolls. Let's say you buy two. Then, in each of the two halfs, for as long as you have a re-roll, you may re-roll nearly any roll you want to.

You may only re-roll once per roll, and you may only use one re-roll per turn.

With basic teams, re-roll are ultra-important from preventing turn-overs. Say you roll double skulls, both down, miss a pass, a hand-off or dodge at a key play. You really need a re-roll to prevent a turnover in that instance.

Thanks - I guess I'll read the tutorials a bit and try to avoid asking these basic questions :)

I'd definetely recommend getting a couple of games in Blackbox under your belt before the tourney starts :)

By the way, if we get 10 or 12 teams, I suggest splitting into two groups based on Time-Zones, with a play-off for the top-two players in each grouping. Only four players in the play-offs will make it quick so a new league can be started, and dividing into two groups will make the league actually possible to finish :)

Also, here is some stuff for you new guys:

Right, how about everybody post their time zone in the team's bio and something about their availability?

#Pelvis Knot : FUMBBL has pretty good tutorials. Also I suggest Orcs as the first team, quite probably the most noob friendly team in the game :)

Thanks, I'll retire the first team and submit another - but since I don't expect much in the winning department (and I already made the second team) I'll stick with the dwarves :)

Applied, don't know if I did it right, though, it should work with Blackbox teams, right?

Blackbox Teams cannot move out of the box, and other teams cannot move into the box. You have to make a League team. I have a thread about it in the forums.

Also, since everybody else created new teams, I assume that's a must? If not, I'd like to know.

Oh, well, my team appears in the league...

Anyway, will create it again (though they could had a damned random name generator)

Teams with random names are for faggots and pussies. True bros find a theme for their team and name their players within that theme.

IMPORTANT IMPORTANT IMPORTANT IMPORTANT

Be sure to check out FUMBBLs naming rules and guidelines. They are being enforced. Calling your team "NAZI NAZI Revolution" or "Uncle Toms Basement Buttrape Time" runs you a very high risk of your team getting deactivated. Disastrous if it happens in the middle of a tourney.

We haven't agreed yet (or have we?), but likely Round Robin or open Round Robin. What do you mean by game frequency? At least game/week would be desirable.
That's what I meant, thanks.
Round Robin means everybody plays everybody else once, right? What is Open Round Robin then?
