We haven't agreed yet (or have we?), but likely Round Robin or open Round Robin. What do you mean by game frequency? At least game/week would be desirable.
That's what I meant, thanks.
Round Robin means everybody plays everybody else once, right? What is Open Round Robin then?

Round Robin: Everybody plays everybody, matches are scheduled.

Open Round Robin: Everybody plays everybody, in any order they can agree.

I propose the first model :)

Applied.

Is there any sort of tutorial in which I could check out how the client works? When I click "play" to the right of my team name, the match client opens but I can't play since it tells I have given the wrong password for my own game :D

I would go for Open RR, but I wouldn't mind regular RR as long as the schedules weren't too strict.

Open RR opens up all kinds of cheese where you can challenge teams that have just taken a vicious beating in their previous match and get fed. Scheduled or bust.

Idd. Not too mention that players which might not be as self-policing when it comes to getting their matches played want have much encouragement from the rest of the league since they can just get their matches over with.

Talk a friend into signing up, make a pair of league teams and play a friendly against each other? Or you can go to irc.fumbbl.com. The people in #fumbblacademy tend to be patient with newbies.

Oh, my bad, thought that Open meant that matches were automatically scheduled with your opponent and then you could agree with him a time to play.

Regular Round Robin then.

I thought we'd wait for more applicants, but perhaps it's best to get things started.

So the tournament's up, round robin, 2 points for win, 1 for draw. I think the best four to finals, played in a single elimination format, there wasn't a way to setup that now.

Tell me if something's fucked up, I haven't had a lot of sleep lately. Otherwise, just play.

Goddamnit. Please remove me, guys. I'm very sorry. I didn't even have time to check out how the client works. Too much work. And I'll be working so hard, or even harder, until the end of September. Sorry, I know it's bad when someone drops out, I really wanted to play but it turns out it's simply impossible. Better to say this now than later.

I'd like to fight you again, hover, but unfortunately I can't do it now... hopefully, if there's a next season in the autumn I'll be able to join.

Sorry for the mess!

If the league needs to have an even number of players, I can replace Elwro, but if You can continue with 9 teams, then I'll pass, and just take a spectator seat during this season.

So, I've decided to aply with a Goblin team. I hope the client is easy to use, as I've never played a match on Fumbbl before.

I've never played a game of BloodBowl in my life so I'll provide 95% of lulz, I think.

47.5 % at most, I'll be a formidable competition in this field

ATTENTION!

MicoSelva, IIRC the bombardier is still bugged! It will probably crash the game. The problem might have been fixed but if so, they've been very quiet about it as I haven't heard something.

If the problem still exists, you shouldn't use the bombardier.

Bugged in what way? I just can't use his ability or would merely deploying him crash the client?

EDIT:
Is this information correct for the client we are using? :

Release Notes Version 0.7.4

This is a feature release which contains no bugfixes.

Improvements:

* 9 new spectator sounds representing crowd noises (with one exception) and overlap nicely.
Thanks to minenbonnie for helping with those.
The new sounds are: /aah /boo /cheer /clap /crickets /laugh /ooh /shock and /stomp

* Wizard inducement is available.
Thanks to WhatBall for the wonderful animations.

* Game options available for league commissioners.
- Sneaky git works like Guard for fouls
- +1 AV Modifier for fouls if fouler is not in an opposing TZ
- Right Stuff cancels Tackle on POW/PUSHBACK rolls
- Piling On ReRolls do not get modified by skills (such as Claw and MightBlow)

Known limitations:

* The wizard may be used at the beginning or the (regular) end of a turn, it doesn't work yet on turnovers. Working on it for the next release.

Skills still missing: (5 of 75 total)

- BALL AND CHAIN
- BOMBARDIER
- FAN FAVOURITE
- HAIL MARY PASS
- PASS BLOCK
If so, I'd like to withdraw my Goblin team and re-join with another. Goblins without Bombardier and Ball&Chain are a slightly worse Skink-based Lizardmen. Secret weapons make 75% of the team's appeal to me. No SWs = no fun.

IIRC, Ball&Chain basically functions like a STR7 player with secret weapon. That is, no random blocking. But I'm not sure. Either way, yes, goblin teams are gimped in FFB as of right now. It's one of the reason I usually shake my head at folks who claim FUMBBL is strictly surperior to Cyanide's. They each have their advantages and disadvantages, and I'd suggest anyone who likes Blood Bowl to play both.

Anyway, Kosti, another restart?
