I'm trying to follow your advice and at least finish chapter 3 (not sure how far I am, just beat the boy in glasses boss) - but at least admit it is retarded for a game to force player to play 15h+ before it 'gets good'. Some games can actually be finished in 15h. I could understand 3h, 4h etc., but 15h+ is a little bit too much.

But, until chapter 3, you don't even have chain attacks available. Even when using blade combos etc. any fight with random mob that's +2 levels higher than you takes about twice as much as it would in Xenoblade 1 for example. I think that bloated HP is actually fair criticism here, there is no point spending double the time on boring fights like this.

“When we have costumes or clothes that we have a little concern with, we share it with NoE and NoA and they’ll say, ‘No, no, that’s fine’ or ‘You’re right, that’s an issue,’” Yokota said. “If it is an issue, we’ll go back and say we’ll say, ‘We adjusted it this way, what do you think?’ There’s a lot of back and forth in that sense. Rather than compromise, it’s like we’re all aiming for the same goal, of being able to provide a good experience for everybody in all regions. And we’re aiming to have a game that has very little difference between the regions.”

Professional translators are only professional because they are paid to translate but most of the time they didn´t study anything related to the field. Not related to this game but to Elden Ring translation.

Piracy is not theft and you are a big boy to still be making that argument, even with a hacked switch i bought Xenoblade 2 because Monolith deserved it. Gameplay will still be amazing if they keep the Torna changed so it will be worthwhile censored or not.
