What game are you wasting time on?

Hearts of Iron 3: Semper Fi with mods and Crusader Kings with DVIP. Hopefully Steam slashes the price of Victoria 2 during their Christmas sale.

Waiting on Medal of Honor and then Fallout: New Vegas for the most part... watching the MLB post-season.

I am playing some Dead Rising 2, but I think I'm pretty much done with it at this point. I played some Lost Planet the other day, a game I got forever ago and never really played... not sure how far I will go with it, it's rather average.

After trying Civ 5 and finding that it lacked something, I've been playing a game of Civ 4. Also, in my free time (which, after Civ 4, doesn't amount to much), I've been playing the same game of Crusader Kings that I've been playing a month ago. I hope to port it over to EU3 once the time limit is reached.

Was playing Dwarf Fortress for a time, but the new school term started and yadda yadda, etc.

If i`m not mistaken on automatic distance is ignored so slow tankish units are better.

In the castle case this is not so, as they have to break the gate down and go through a choke-point. Only one gate exists in auto-battle, if I'm not mistaken, so your archers get a good chance to lay in on 'em something heavy.

Auto-battle is almost always a bad idea tho (not sure if difficulty settings influence your own units' AI as well), I only use it for long drawn out final battles that I don't want to deal with so I'll just throw everything but my heroes at it and hit auto-battle, then mop up any remainders with the hero.

I'm playing NWN2 online.

Don't feel that bad: I'm playing WoW. Revisiting all the classic zones, particularly those which I never really experienced, like Ungoro Crater or Aszhara (no wonder: there are only 5 quests in the whole zone!)

How did you level without hitting the Ungoro Crater? Been years and years since I played WoW but I seem to remember that being a stepping stone. Though I guess you could just do a lot of dungeons, especially with instant dungeon teleporting group finding crap now.

I donno, I just never really hit it. I recall visiting it to get some stuff from fire elementals a couple years ago, but that's it.

Visiting these zones rather than rushing off to Outland has made me realize how much of the game was content incomplete at the time of launch. Searing Gorge is pretty nice these days, for example, but the Thorium brotherhood was only added in the 5th or 6th patch, without which the zone really only had 1 chain. Aszhara is the most glaring example with just 5 measly quests. The Blasted Lands must have had nothing at launch, because all the quests there were added with BC. Likewise with Eastern Plaguelands, which had almost all of its content introduced with Naxxramas.

Oh and the reason why I'm doing all of this is to get one last look at Classic WoW before it all gets changed with Cata.

Over there.
Flight Simulator. It's my go-to when there isn't anything else holding my interest at the moment.

Where do you people get the time to play so many games?? Don't you have work or school?

After playing Master of Magic and Master of Orion for the first time (= pure greatness)...

I am trying to finish my playthrough of Homm5. Finally on the last campaign - the wizard in the Academy faction. And then there are the 2 expansions. Definitely got more than my money's worth already..

Then, probably Age of Wonders (original).

Hrmm, since there's a bunch of us already playing Age of Wonders (1 or 2), would anyone want to throw down online?

Freespace 2 SCP. A lot of people say it's the best space simulation game evar even better than Tie Fighter blah blah, but to be honest I don't think it's really that better than Tie Fighter. Not a bad game though, and the combat do feel intense with all the beams and missiles going on. But I wish the game's action and grafix would look as good as say, Freelancer.

Just removed KB: CW from an virtual inventory and going to try the full demo. I've played both KB and KB: AP but hey, the ad says CW has moar contents!

I'm waiting for New Vegas, and DoomRL 1.0...

Finally decided that I should play Oblivion from start to end. Also I think I must be punished for my crimes.

You don't need to state the same thing twice you know :smug:

Seriously, don't. Not without a few obligatory mods.

I'm in the "lots of games, don't know what to play" state again.

Although I'm torn between firing up Dungeon Keeper, Thief 2 or Syndicate Wars

Although I'm playing Armada Tanks at work. It's a great remake of that NES game that was coming on the "default" cartridge. I especially like how it throws 10+ tanks at you at once from time to time. Another video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UadH5V1n ... re=related

Holy shit, I played something like Armade Tanks on the old msx in the 80's. Difficult and addictive as hell. Brings me back.

Found it. It's called tank battalion. Man, I wasted days on that.
