As originally envisioned, Weird West didn't allow any manual saving/reloading but it looks like the casuals won and they got what you so derisively refer to as a cheat button.

guy is super annoying, have seen him play other stuff too and he is terrible at games, just totally blows through content and misses and/or misunderstands like half of what is going on...he seems not very bright honestly and it gets on my nerves.

Bayonetta is an excellent game by Platinum Games, a female version of Dante’s Devil May Cry. I’ve never heard of anyone going: “You play as a woman? Hard pass!”
