I'd think Tuco would classify more as a "Rogue".

Also, Harmonica is a Bard, obviously :troll:

I have a question to Brother None.
How will the world-map function in the game? Will it be a 2D map you see an icon travelling on, like in the first Fallouts? Or will it be something different?

I'm asking this because according to the Conquistador devs, Unity REALLY stinks when it comes to big open-world stuff when it's 3D. And since WL2 is using the same engine, I wonder if it will have the same problems.

Something like that, yeah.

The Conquistador devs are talking about continuous open-world, a la Bethesda games, or what?

So Blondie, Tuco, Angel Eyes and Harmonica. An all-gunsligner party.

I'd rather have Lee Van Cleef's Colonel Mortimer from A Few Dollars More than Angel Eyes. Much better character, and he's pretty much good at everything. We definitely know that he has skill with locks/safes.

You could also throw in the James Coburn character from Duck,You Sucker! as an explosives expert.

Uh.. something like that, yeah. The overworld was basically was a 3D version of HoMM3 overworld, and they apparently had lots of trouble with it with the second campaign since it caused memory leaks or some such bullshit.

They say it's mainly due to Unity and the way it handles terrain or something. But I can't be sure if it's engine or programmer fault.

Anyway, when will they show how the overworld functions in WL2? Upcoming Gamescom conference, maybe?

I was able to download the issue online. I think it was legal, but not 100% certain. Anyways, google translate wasn't very friendly but it looked like there wasn't a ton of new information in the main article itself. However, there are several new screenshots (6). Some of those look like areas we've already seen, just different parts of those areas and different angles. Additionally, it introduces 3 new factions that we have not been introduced before and gives a name to the Synth and priest factions from the gameplay demo. In all, it has snippets on 6 or 7 factions. It also has the most current list of skills with descriptions, which I didn't bother translating through all of those.

Looking forward to seeing all this in KS update; I'm guessing next month!

Anybody wanna buy it and scan it?

That isn't available until 31.7.
There is another one, are the Pistolero Priests known for example, search here doesn't tell anything?

Sweet. Like the factions. Nothing like stomping down on a bunch of survivalist rednecks or crushing a machine uprising. Screenshots are looking awesome btw. Love the art direction. When's this one scheduled for release again? ;)

Eh, a backer-exclusive skill... How likely is it that a Torment backer who gets a digital version of Wasteland receives the same version? Well, I guess there will be some way to get access to it for everyone, eventually.

Yeah, it probably will be that simple.

Seems to give you background info about the gameworld and its inhabitants. Dunno how that will translate into the game.
It says it will give "additional and considerably more detailed information about the world and its inhabitants". I guess the extent of that is based on how big the game actually turns out to be.

Thanks for the link btw, Infinitron. That Rome 2 article is also pretty damn neat. Seems the prologue campaign will be you beating the Samnites as Rome and that it takes about three hours to do so. That goes beyond a simple tutorial.

And I really wanna have that print. $320 however...
