Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire
Also waiting for bigger mechanical improvements. I wonder if I'll ever play it.

New archetypes look fun as fuck. Executioner seems to be custom-made for a bio/pyro character but i wonder if a full-blown combo of bladedancer and executioner will be too MAD to support psyker shit on top of it.

They dangle some cut content as DLC in front of your faces and you people instantly forget the shit-ass character system, huh

Yeah, that IS the real deal-breaker.
What cut content tho? Last chapters are as incomplete as ever. This new side stuff is just that, side stuff. This DLC and the upcoming one might add some natural padding to the late game, but that won't fix the issues with the main plot.

Or is this solely about the new archetypes? In which case, big deal. That's a bonus added on top of the new side content.

It really annoys me how Owlcat fans gloss over major problems at acts like these are small nitpicks,the game is solid (only took them close to a year)

They would call out other games like BG3 for its cut content but suddenly for Rogue Trader the game ended perfectly.

I have not seen many people that ignored problems with the game, at least not here.

People have been plenty critical about Act 4 and Act 5 tho. Especialy Act 5.

The only things BG3 have worse in term of Cut content is companions. Wyll and Karlach are straight up incomplete, the only one that has the same issue is Argenta.

I started playing the DLC yestarday and i quite liked how they fleshed out some quest like Argenta and Abelard quests in the Voidship with the new NPCs. Sauerback's addition to Abelard quest is appreciated.

Here it gets brought up often . Other places it’s gets downplayed quite a lot with it getting brought from time to time.

So how gigagay is this game? Is this anywhere near the retardation levels of Cuckfinder: Wrath of the Trannyous?
It's pretty alright in that regard, surprisingly. Like, less gay than even Kinkmaker. The issue of this game isn't the writing, for once, but rather tha gameplay. Still hoping that once they rebalance it for the 700th time, it won't turn into a cakewalk starting chapter 2.

I'd hope they'd be able to copy it from tabletop, at least

Hotfix 1.2.1.10 is live!

Lord Captains! We are deploying a hotfix to deal with a few annoying issues discovered by the community over the days since release of the Void Shadows DLC.

Consoles will receive the same update within 24 hours.

Note that https://steamcommunity.com/app/2186680/discussions/0/4027970580228219058/ always contains up-to-date information on known issues and the roadmap of upcoming patches.

Patch Notes
  • Some space battles could become stuck after defeating all enemies - fixed;
  • Abilities in space combat could become unavailable after the first use - fixed;
  • In rare cases, UI in space combat could disappear - fixed;
  • The main enemy of the battle in Astropathic Chapel refused to die if the difficulty was set to Custom and NPC stat modifiers were set below a certain threshold - fixed;
  • Since the last update, the player could experience severe lag when using some abilities such as burst attacks - fixed;
  • The main menu button “Continue” used to ignore the existence of Grim Darkness saves, forcing the player to load game manually through the Load Game menu - fixed, now continuing the game is possible as normal;
  • Making four incorrect choices in

    quest no longer causes all party members to instantly die (which caused a Grim Darkness game over), only inflicting damage and trauma instead;

The FFG Rogue Trader rules are extremely lethal. Combined with the way Owlscat design encounters ("Throw more shit at it") the game would be unplayble.
This is RT in name only anyway.
