The ugliness is so aggressive that it becomes its own aesthetic.

Ok, so I tried out the new character.

She seems overpowered

Xe is the end-character.

No crown, I even wasted a slot by picking up silver ring too early. I didn't even take any damage once before the reaper showed up. And lasted 30 sec against the reaper w/o any normal crutches.

Now... what happens when you actually try?

Peak gameplay right there. It only gets worse. There are no caps for anything. The ride never ends.

Around 20 minute mark I no longer could pause the game to get a screenshot.

And here is the end result. I was gaining a level every second. Theoretically, with more revivals or stun, I could've broken 2k. Or with the card that gets all the items on the map.

I killed the mega-boss of Bone Zone from the other side of the map. No idea what the actual reach of my weapons was, but the entire map was filled with orbs.

Any sane dev would've capped things, but not this man. 1000% curse, LOL.

It may come as a shock to the people of the codex, but I regularly make judgments of games without having played them.

Anyhow, having played the game a bit, it's much slower than vampire survivors, there is no time limit to games, and it didn't seem overly complicated.

I'll keep an eye on it since I own it now, but it has a long way to go to be a successful game. I didn't see anything that would prevent the game from being developed and turned into a fun game either.

Oh, you are being a passive aggressive cunt over this?

Why wouldn't you just tag me in that thread instead of following me all over the forums.

There was a game patch in the past few days, and now there is a new unlockable character, and a new randomazzo item.

I ran through the achievement to get the new randomazzo which makes a "damage aura" around ur character based off your "magnet" skill.

I did the "secret" steps to be able to unlock the new character, but he takes a boat load of gold to unlock, so I might have to do another run later to farm the money to test it out.

The "new" characters name is "Missing N", but he was previously unlockable by people who edited their game saves to make it look like they had killed the death monster before it was really killable.

$3 is a steal for the fun and time I put into the game, but unlike the people in the replies I won't be fixing it by buying the game again.

Man, i recall buying this game just to see what people were talking about, most games these days(Even playing old games) just doesn't grab my attention like before and leave them unfinished...this game took many hours of my life away by being strangely addictive, great game and it was quite cheap.

Now...there is needless lore from a controversial person, actually, has Sterling ever written anything for video games, making videos about games doesn't count!

Whatever, it says something Vampire Survivors basically kickstarted a new genre by having many clones, one i enjoy quite a bit is Boneraiser Minions:

Cheap but with a good amount of content already, and yep, you basically play as a necromancer/demon summoner who must raise an army of AI controlled demons and zombies to kill the army after you, your guy being unable to attack...unless you get some spell scrolls in which case some can be deadly, you can also put traps in the graveyard before a session according to how much money you earned, but it's not needed...still turned some graves into pit traps and pumpkin bombs.
