Which one? Don't tell about weapon - not interested.
New area with a lot of difficult enemies. But content wise it pales in comparison to Expedition which is like 3 times larger.
You pretty much want Heavy Duty for the weapons, because the new area it adds is pretty out of the way and barren.
What's funny is despite being a high level area it's stupidly easy to sneak past the exos; the only real problems are the robo-dogs, and they have pretty short vision range. So you don't even need to be high level to do the high level area and you even get rewarded for sneaking past everyone.

Too bad the game punishes you for killing too many of them. I killed them all and it makes the commander unresponsible, denying you access to the void stuff

Void battle was kind of meh though, so you don't really miss out on much except some fluff.
I don't even remember how I did it on Dom. I know it took several attempts and gratuitous use of the torch and persuasion, but it was pretty RNG heavy. You basically can't lose your medics or your psyker because that's an instant lose state if you don't have TC.
After you deal with the commander though you can just shoot your way out because the patrols are still hostile to you. The actual fights are worthy of being end-game, imo.

On dominating they're pretty hard. Each of them have 800ish HP and heavily armed. I did it with a full auto heavy weapons tin can, but there was no way to sneak through the base. Actually there was, i could get almost 200 stealth from gear alone, but switching around gear was too much of a hassle for me to try it

I remember trying to sneak through the compound and immediately walking into a firing squad of them down the stairs. If it weren't for an earlier save (from like 2 hours ago) I'd have to restart the whole playthrough.
Even when I switched to combat gear I still got smoked because there were like 8 of them + a dog. Those laser gunners have a silly number of attacks. I built super steel armour later specifically for them.

Remind me a thing about crossbows - does Snipe a must have?
I'm like, going for Ambush but it is not always possible to get setup for it to work, but...
Snipe require Aimed Shot that is useless in lategame.
Snipe is bane for non-crit critters - are theremay of them?

Well, also going for IM mode.
Previous run ended at first guy with knife, where this secluded shop behind electronic check is. :dead:

To be fair, the dogs do have shorter sight range than the exos, so you can still skirt around them. The fact those cryodogs can intercept your nades for a free reaction is pretty bullshit though.
Problem is when they spawn in some cells it's pretty much unavoidable to be spotted, there's a lot of tight spaces in the compound

Snipe is a wasted feat for crossbows. Hell, even Aimed Shot is. With all the crits and bonuses stacked, a plain bolt is still a plain bolt. The crossbow damage excels in the special bolts, and they don't get any bonuses from aimed shot and snipe.

Aimed Shot is only a must in a crossbow build because you'll need it to gain access to Sharpshooter, which is huge for crossbow builds.

No, all the stuff that was added in Expedition and Heavy Duty have made crossbows into special bolts spammers. You basically never ever want to use normal bolts.
The only reason you would maybe, maybe get Snipe would be for Thermo bombs but even then it will suck when you run into armor. Though it might last you just enough till you can oneshot with shock mk3 bolts. Dunno, haven't done it.

Crossbows builds are strafe, marskman, special tactics, elemental bolts and then all the crit you can fit in. Going Aimed Short>Sharpshooter is definitely also an option.

I'm pretty sure that the Compound patrols entered areas I was in right as I was approaching that exit, more than once. I wasn't a big fan of that, since you obviously can't see them coming when they suddenly spawn in.

It's a waste too mostly, as you move often, so like 4 out of 5 bolts being shot without SS focusing - at least for me.

The 30% crit bonus is too good to pass on, on a crossbow build. You sneak, get in position, spam shock bolts into group enemies, powder vanish if needed, repeat. I don't move often with my crit crossbow builds, because when i attack i delete most of the enemies in one turn. Not uncommon killing three guys with one shock bolt.

Question is - how/where/what to edit game files that I could start with rand dungeons I want?
Exactly Ice T, that dungeon from mushroom cove scavenger's quest, and gypsy.
Don't know, if you can immediately upon start detect in case if some other tasty dungeons spawned.

There's a "mod" that allows all random dungeon spawns

I'm pretty sure it requires a new save since Underrails dungeons are generated at the game start... Here you go

Playing through this again after many years, just wanted to say the atmosphere sounds in the game are just great. Light bulbs buzzing, fans, reverb in the caves etc are just so good.

No, I remember I was reading you could edit some files and always get gypsy, that mushroom cove scavenger quest and Ice T.

Also, I read there are other - new - dungeons? or events - jet eater isn't new, but Hopper Dome nd Ludenlof is?
the Furnace, the Channels, and the Pipes too?
Are they worth to see?
I could guess that getting gypsy and tatto guy is beig unbalanced(?) I mean I feel they should be mutually exclusive probably, but what exactly offer these other things?
Ludenof sounnds like npc with name and story behind him, lore?
