Could be, I'm 100% guessing with no knowledge or context outside of the original game.

I forgot this isn't a proper sequel. Knowing Styg, we might not get one because he'll be too busy hunting down broken builds and adding content to this and the original game.

it actually looks like a proto-UR lol
I feel you cuz, but if you haven't already you need to try Laser Squad, it's also proto-UR and will blow your mind with the sim depth.
Hell it even BTFOs some of Underrail's design at times, like with its AP Allowance system where certain actions cost a % of your current max AP, so you can't become too fatigued to do basic things like accessing inventory, which happens all the time in Underrail.
Wasn't there some Laser Squad game in the making lately with a thread on Codex?

Yes, Archrebel Tactics, it's very ambitious though not quite like Laser Squad since it's inspired by the earlier Rebelstar, which doesn't have unit facing and turning among other things.

On the internet, writing shit posts.
I have never been active on this thread but I am considering playing Underrail because I have heard very good things about this game

I dont know much about it except for basically " Underrail is a post-apocalyptic role-playing game focused on combat and exploration."

I love exploring and I loved the Fallout games so it seems very applicable to what I enjoy

If fans of the game can share 2-3 things they like about this game that would be appreciated
Huge build variety, incredibly tactical combat system that rewards intelligent play instead of just leeroy jenkins into everything (even if you run AR Heavy Armour, which is supposed to be a "noob" build, you will get your shit pushed in if you aren't playing smart), varied and pretty robust crafting mechanic and a massive world with a lot o f content.

Doing more UI work. Made a new action bar. Also, increased the icon size in the inventory a bit.
Looks good. Is there a reason why the quickbar/actionbar UI is using more vertical space than it did in Underrail? I feel I would have preferred if it used more horizontal space, and left more of the middle of the screen unobscured, but that's just me.

So I could have larger weapon renders there and also I want to put some stuff on the bottom to either side.
