Its amazing how many gamedesign aspects the codex analyzes out of thin air.
Thin air?Its amazing how many gamedesign aspects the codex analyzes out of thin air.
Hell, we're just that goodIts amazing how many gamedesign aspects the codex analyzes out of thin air.
I'm actually enjoying the "stylized" elements of the art. I'm more disappointed with the in-engine shots - particularly the character art. Tiny, tiny people with lots of complex details that are hard to parse, making everyone look alike. I never thought I'd miss the fact that in Fallout there were like 10 character sprites. Oh well, I can live with it if the writing is good. The decline of fantasy games art, result of the "it doesn't lack talent, it's just stylized" philosophy
At the moment I have more faith in Beamdog than Obsidian.
in other words, 15 second loading times when entreing the one room shop on a rig with 15 gb RAM.Tyranny isn't a successor to Pillars of Eternity, but it does run on the same engine.
That is just too fucking awesome not to be made into an official forum emote.I'll just leave this here for future usage.

The stylized art in DA2 and on Tranny's site reminds me of ugly communist monuments:
Sawyer is not in this project.

You're so wrong with the 3rd one, it's actually funny.

The memorial has not been universally welcomed, with some artists saying the memorial is kitsch and others critical that female figures were not included.
I noticed that this tweet only has one Like so far, so it's probably news to the Codex:
I dig the outside-of-game art style. Yeah it's very Dragon Age 2, but so what.
Can anyone ask MCA if he had any involvement with this project?
