I'll probably try it for the explorefag factor, but I'll likely be disappointed. Has it been released already? The bay of pirates doesn't have it yet.

I just hope there won't be too many shitty QTEs.
5 March, according to Steam. And yes, it will have too many shitty QTEs.

Oooh, all the pre-order bonuses have been unlocked whats this? The third challenge pack or whatever its called is a multiplayer map just what I wanted, the ability to run around cracking other Laura's skulls in with a climbing axe. Have there been any videos of the multiplayer game modes yet, I am assuming that since the whole acrobatic gunplay stuff is gone this will be a roll around on the ground with shotguns affair ala Gears of Derp.

Who wants to guess how long it takes for the multiplayer mode to be devoid of other players? 2 months? I never understood the publisher's need to tack on multiplayer to every single game when most are dead within the year and only a few popular or quality games have lasting communities.

Multiplayer should consist of a huge sandbox where everyone plays as Lara or evul man, everyone is naked and the only game mode available is Rape Dodge.

Also, does anyone know of any recent pc games like this, I mean, third person view, exploration, purrty graphics, more action oriented gameplay instead of pretending to be a rpg. If it has rape as well, I'm ok with it.

Four perfect scores already:

Looks like the publisher did a good job on the bribe monies. Either that or every reviewer found out you can have Lara raped.

Next game review blowback. Watch. Haven't seen so many vague and/or apologetic reviews since...the last hyped up AAA.

I quite enjoyed the Eurogamer Review which seems to be fairly critical despite awarding a decent score. Plus as a bonus they describe one of the supporting characters as "Dirty Foreign Rapist of Unspecified Baltic Origin".

I'll probably pick this up once the price drops to a more reasonable level, although I'm a bit disappointed that a game called "Tomb Raider" doesn't actually seem to feature many actual tombs to raid anymore.

Why can't he say Lara right? There's no o in Lara.

True you cant spell 'Ignorant' without 'IGN'. Though now I'm finding it hard to find a decent review. Gonna wait to see what the angry joe show has got to say. It says something when I no longer trusts reviews from video game journalists.

So do I, I also trust AngryJoe for his reviews because the reviews he's done strips all the layouts of the whole game and sees that Reviewers are true to what they are all saying or they have been bribed to do it.

AMD unveils TressFX Hair simulation technology

AMD has announced a partnership with Square Enix studio Crystal Dynamics under the Gaming Evolved programme that promises to bring Radeon owners unprecedented realism in a hitherto neglected aspect of gaming: hair simulation.

Announced this week, AMD's deal with Crystal Dynamics sees the company working to increase the realism of hair rendering in games to a level previously only possible with pre-rendered footage, by offloading the heavy lifting to the graphics processor using the DirectCompute offload language. The result is undeniably impressive: compared to the often solid-block hair of most game characters, hair rendered using the TressFX Hair engine - for that is the technology's name - is considerably more complex and dangles in an alarmingly realistic manner.

:yeah:

Suck it down, Crispy. I bet you wish you had an AMD card now like I do.
