It sure controls like it though. The more I play the more pissed off I get with the sluggish and unresponsive K&M controls. This is the real DOWNGRADE compared to TW2 but of course none of the brainwashed consoletards even noticed that something is amiss. Time to plug in a controller and see if that works any better.

Oh no, the combat is a non-issue. I've barely seen much of it. I kited that Wraith for a bit before the tutorial told me I should run (thanks CDP, I hadn't noticed that BAD ASS GRANDPA WITCHER was doing very little damage on a Wraith I've fought 1000x before in this series). I'm talking more about the shitty characters (Ciri the Precocious Wunderkind, etc), the disjointed intro, the tutorial that seems likely to span on for three more hours, the absolutely shitty open world full of NPCs with nothing interesting to say.

I see a lot of config this, toggle that questions. Since this is a console game at heart, I'm guessing most interesting changes will have to be done in an .ini file, not the options screen.

Decided to replay Twicher 2 in meantime waiting for 2 patches to make game playable, took my Collector Edition Box, found discs, started to Install it, waited one hour, had to type long as frack key and game started to DL Enchenced Version from server with Potato Lighting speed of 50KB/s... Was going to take 3 Days.



Then I renembered I can DL and install copy in 30 minutes using torrent with a speed of 5MB/s and no hassle nor keys BS or disc joggling. Good work Sodomizing your legit customers CDR.

Hmm checking now if the rollback do anything. According to the chart Mortmal posted gtx 770 should be enough for 40 fps at least

Just used frap I have 28-30 fps with a gt 560 with most stuff on, range to medium and textures to high.So its likely you are well above that.

I had the game preloaded. The fucking thing keeps restarting the patch DL over and over. I'd guess it's done this around 200 times by now.

Like... insisting on downloading a real physical potato through the interwebz, reallising it can't be done, and then trying again stubborn as fuck.

My official retail copy of da witcha is fucked. DVD2 has been pressed badly.
Now instead of playing i will need 15 hours to wait until gog copy will land on my harddrive...

Ok, after playing with the graphical settings a bit more I was able to make it run "decently" ( aka 40-50 fps outdoors ) on my 2600K + HD 7970. I still don't think it looks too impressive, not much better than Skyrim which was a 2011 game. So for a 2015 game, picture me as unimpressed.

Also, eating and drinking underwater, people. Underwater. 2015 RPG.
