Some worthwhile demos to try.

Artstyle is going to be turn off for many here but as someone who doesn't play tower defence games often i thought it was pretty neat.


A lot of youtubers have been shilling this one lately. Another one of those roguelites with meta-progression, this one in particular is about assembling your own monster squad.
Not bad at all from what i tried


There is a bunch of annoying bugs, platforming in many places feels junky and manually aiming your weapon is a pain in the ass.
Still, i am impressed that there exists a solo dev who is very nostalgic about Jak 2. City looks pretty.

Steam sales and their dates for q3 and q4 2025 announced. Notably, the Autumn sale is September 29 – October 6 instead of the prior late November to early December.

That makes more sense. Before it was basically pointless because you'd have the Autumn sale immediately followed by the Winter/Xmas sale, so it was like the entire store was on sale practically between like November and January.
