I think they abondoned this one.

DOA means "Dead on Arrival" ;)

Yes, but they say you can complete it and Konjad wrote a review on the Steam page about it. So if you think that's worth $1... if you don't, then don't.

Where/How can I find it?

Edit: I've found the thread here on the Codex
It's a pretty technical process.

1) Click on the link provided to get to the Steam page.
2) Read the review.

Since you seem to have difficulty with this I've pasted it here. Granted, I'm uncertain that you'll figure out how to purchase a game but we'll save that for another day.

BEAST is quite a decent but linear turn-based tactical game with focus on the story.

The combat is fun and combines melee and gun fights, and you get a party of up to 4 members (excluding additional storyline NPC). On normal difficulty the game is not too easy and provided challenge plenty of times, though if you've played a lot of tactical games before I'd suggest playing on hard after all, especially if you plan on doing side missions that provide additional items and experience. There are multiple character builds possible, and other team members have their own abilities depending on their class. There are plenty of supplementary items to assist combat: poison or oil you can put on blades, various granades, different kinds of ammunition for bows or guns. You get to manage party and choose who you take on a mission, although it seems to open only half-way through, the first half of the game had essentially set characters. The gameplay overall makes me think of a mix between the new XCOM series and Dungeon Rats, but unfortunately with more linear levels where you basically move from one point to another with occassional minor side task.

The story seems interesting enough, serves well as the background during gameplay. However, at the time of writing this the final missions seem not to be in the game yet. Cutscenes appear between most of missions, and the game's atmosphere is quite unique and intruguing. I won't comment on graphics because I had to play it on low, but while the game looked like a total turd on GTX 1060 3 GB it still run in 60 FPS without major graphical issues, so I can't complain. Audio needs a lot of work yet, there's plenty of issues with audio not fitting dialogues etc, it's a clear work in progress. Music is okay but extremely repetitive, I eventually turned it off, but from what I understand the final version is supposed to have new music and artists.

If you like tactical games then BEAST is certainly worth checking out, I had plenty of fun playing even the unfinished version. At this time in the beta the game is a bit rough around the edges, but the combat is appealing and I got absorbed to complete the game in a week (about 18h of gameplay). However, be aware that it is not an RPG, in spite of what Steam store page says - it's a pure turn based tactical game.

"Hi, I think you can safely buy it and give it a chance. The game is playable from start to finish. There is one ending (there are supposed to be more), but you can easily play the game twice in different ways (exorcise the beast or strengthen it for your own purposes). You have over 40 hours of gameplay ahead of you, over 30 missions, almost an hour of cutscenes, two main playable characters (the protagonist and the antagonist) and their warbands including a dozen or so different companions, a horse-drawn cart with a driver, etc.

The game is 90% finished. We didn't manage to finish the beta phase, so there are some bugs, but the game is graphically optimized quite well. You can play with a controller, you can play on Steam Deck. There is a Hardcore and Ironman game mode.

The game's atmosphere is quite dark, but there are also funny moments and references to pop culture. This is a game for someone who likes tactical combat like in Gears Tactics or Mordheim - without a grid, like in miniatures skirmish wargames. Darkest Dungeon fans appreciate the grimdark atmosphere and the Insanity mechanics."

Sounds good enough for me

The developers describe the content like this:

This game contains anatomically incorrect nudity and violence.

Codex 2016 - The Age of Grimoire Make the Codex Great Again! Grab the Codex by the pussy Bubbles In Memoria
I've played following demos:
Dust Raiders https://store.steampowered.com/app/3509010/Dust_Raiders_Demo/
Post-apocalyptic tactical vehicular combat with time-dilation.
Slaves of Magic https://store.steampowered.com/app/1442610/Slaves_of_Magic/
Fantasy X-com, with deadly combat. Very promising.

Maybe going to try following:
Fluffy Sailors https://store.steampowered.com/app/2973620/Fluffy_Sailors_Demo/
Fumes https://store.steampowered.com/app/1920430/FUMES/
Chip 'n Clawz vs The Brainioids https://store.steampowered.com/app/1332430/Chip_n_Clawz_vs_The_Brainioids/

So many demos i want to try here.

Already played recently:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3222870/Valor_Of_Man_Demo/ - interesting tactical rpg roguelite. The "reaction" system has potential.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1462030/Duil/ - Not for me
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3367690/Void_Sails/ - i like Treasure Planet - like ships but i wish mechanics were a bit more meaty.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3491930/Noobs_Are_Coming_DEMO/ - I had fun with the first basic character by going all-in on ranged damage, increasing amount of arrows and stuff. Didn't have much fun with the other characters like the summoner, certain builds and weapon types feel too gimmicky. The one that turns you into a rolling ball is one of the fun ones.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2693880/RX1040/ - a very straightforward third person action game with ricosheting bullets and robots. No roguelike or rpg elements, just a very straightforward and simple action game. Feels weirdly refreshing.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3452580/Demigoddess_Demo/ - a japanese indie strategy with a few Dominions/CoE inspirations and a focus on short sessions. As expected from a japanese indie i immediately run into issues with resolution that made it impossible to play it comfortably. I can tolerate some junky controls and wonky translations but i really can't tolerate unreadable fonts.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2631450/Bean_Beasts/ - cute little tower defence game. After trying Tower Dominions demo i've been growing an interest in tower defence games.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2471680/Risimon/ - posted some screenshots and even made a thread about it. Basically a Pokemon clone written like it was made by 4chan shitposters. Plot and dialogue are very amusing despite already outdated memes. Nice pixel art during battles but the combat is pretty much the same as Pokemon - good enough for someone like me who only played one Pokemon game in his life on Gameboy Advance but i doubt it's going to impress someone who is more versed in Pokemon games. I really wish there was a button to quickly speed up the animations.

Demos i want to try out:
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2986450/Metro_Gravity/
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3136490/Echoes_of_the_Architects/
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2053910/Isopod_A_Webbed_Spinoff/
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3304280/My_Chandroid_Sweetheart/
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2821920/Angeline_Era_Demo/
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2111370/Covert_Critter/
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2980450/Cliax_Codec/
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3528750/o_Demo/
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3175790/Mechaknights_Legends/
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3088250/Nitro_Express/
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3494500/Blightstone_Demo/
https://store.steampowered.com/app/2563880/Ghost_Hand/
https://store.steampowered.com/app/3477260/Demon_Tides_Demo/
