I suggest grabbing Frozen Synapse. Really great tactical indie game with great art direction and super awesome soundtrack. And when I say super awesome I mean Deus Ex awesome music.

Already got New Vegas for $10 from D2D earlier -- good price on the DLC but I'll probably pass. I wasn't that amazed with the base game to want to play DLC. Might have budged on Second Encounter for $2 or something really dirt cheap but at $4 I'd just as soon as put that towards SS3 coming out soon.

Hilariously, though, I get four more tickets today. At this point I'll probably end up buying something stupid like the Portal 2 scuba masks even though I doubt I'll own the game for another year.

Is alpha brotocol worth 5 bucks? I remember seeing some pretty horrid stuff regarding the stealth system and heinously bad dialogue.

It's totally worth five bucks if you can stomach playing a (pretty decent) console game.

Indeed. DKS will probably be cheaper. The Void was in one of those 5 for $5 indie packs last Holiday sale. Morrowind has been as low as $5 and still might be a daily.

Before I buy Frozen Synapse, any Codex bros got it and have the free copy to spare for a bro? I will love you forever and put you in my comic and not kill you.
:bro:

Because:

1) You're a bro

2) I'm drunk

3) I'm close enough to beat the shit out you and take whatever money you have on you

I'll take repayment in whisky or sex, your choice

I enjoy Mount and Blade: Warband, is Mount and Blade: Potato and Onion worth it $3.74 or should I just try mods? I'm intrigued by option to equip common soldiers.

I didn't buy it, but I'm fairly sure the multiplayer was dead on release. Warband is still better for SP because of mods.

Argh, how long do you think until they release a Hearts of Iron 3 collection which includes the latest expansion? The fact that I bought EU3 Chronicles for $7.50 has sorta spoiled me.

Everything automatic. Don't think you can redirect it.

Fuck, how do mods work? Do you just treat the folder under steamapps like it's a normal installation folder?

Yeah, though there are exceptions. Make sure not to recheck the integrity of the files though, or it will (I guess, obviously) overwrite any changes.

Generally you just treat it as the same folder just make the appropriate changes -- most mods will have guides how to deal with Steam installations since it's so widespread today.
