Most people will just buy it anyway... there's a 0% chance this game will tank IMO.

I don't think it's fair to say LOU1 was 'garbage' tier, although the gameplay did have some pretty immersion breaking problems.

Pretty much. GoT was at it's best when two people were talking. It wasn't the tits, it wasn't the dragons, it wasn't battles, it wasn't the shock porn. It was Charles Dance and Stephen Dillane etc playing good characters.

I'll say this - I do like the notion of Joel and Ellie being villains to other peoples. It makes sense. You're basically just seeing your side of the story and in an apocalyptic universe everyone is having issues which you don't have any insight into. I like to often joke "that dude had a family" whenever I murder some guy who is just minding his business or is clearly low on the totem pole. It's also reminiscent of I Am Legend which is one of my favorite books. That said, ideas are cheap, execution matters. It just seems like hamfisted schlock at the moment, and the juiced up uber jacked girl is off the wall distracting in a post-apo setting I just don't know what they were thinking with that.

They could do revenge of the kid of a nameless Stormtrooper killing all Star Wars characters in the new sequels. Some stormtroopers were gentlemen in Star Wars: they were shot after asking rebels to halt rather than trying to shot their back.
Still the father of the chimp/new protagonist was some kind of torturer doctor, I mean punks in Hokuto no Ken could have kids but they were monsters.
