In 2023 there were several games with better scores than Spiderman 2 and Alan Wake 2 and these two were still nominated for GOTY. Stray also had a lowish score and was nominated in 2022. Imho Animal Well and Tekken 8 have a really small chance of being nominated. Veilguard will 100% get a nomination in the best RPG category. I can also see it getting a nomination for Goty as other awards, like the Golden Joysticks, already included it in their shortlists.

Imho the goty list will be Astro Bot, Metaphor, FF7, Balatro, Infinite Wealth and Veilguard. Sillent Hill 2, Cod and Satisfactory as possible choices. I would be glad to be proven wrong tho.
