It's a role-playing game because you play the role of a new character in South Park. :smug:

Admit it: If they made it isometric, 90% of you would play it.

First of Obsidian is designing this. Meaning they will write too. (I think even Fenstermaker is on this project. It would fit) The SP guys are "just" writing the script. Not quests and so on.

This is the day that the oldfags finally tired of life itself and descended to their somber tombs, buried deep within the bowels of the earth. There they would slumber for many millenia, until the day the sons of Adam would cry out for their aid during the final battle between darkness and light.

This really sounds like that Dragon Age's plot. Are you a dragon?

At least it'll probably be less boring than Skyrim.

Most probably. Actually, instead of going into butthurt mode for no specific reason, I am wondering how could they manage to pull that off. Depending on the angle Obsidian take it could turn out to be quite interesting - as long as there's some purpose in game.

I can see only one way, where this may fall - they make it console equivalent of a facebook game. A likely scenario, but let's not dwell upon it too much (yet).

Day 1 purchase for sure. :smug:

I don't get the rage. Sure, it is disapointing, but I like the show, and if it will be a good RPG in the SP universe, I will enjoy it. And we already knew that they are working on a game based on an animation franchise. What did you expect? An Aladdin RPG or Lion King RPG?
