Dunno why it means that much to you. Theres not really a huge skill difference between high gold-plat. Like high Silver-Gold. Its a thin line. Only more bitching is guaranteed.
Tryharding normals so you can pump your normal MMR is pretty much a waste of time, IMO. You already know how to play, so why ruin derpers day with those skills? Tryhard ranked and the game could possibly be a bit more exciting for you instead of jizzing over that some diamond player joined a normal troll game that you were in.

Mystary seemed to care that it wasn't plat, not me. And do bring those pictures if you want to get a perfect 1 for 1 comparison.

Normals aren't actually that tryhard and at the same time they are. They are less tryhard in that people sometimes just surrender when the first inhib is lost, and no one calls anything, including me. But it's just as tryhard because people try to get good lane matchups and teamcomps, at least most of the time. So like last game, our top laner went Nasus top (how can you say it's not tryhard!) while their mid laner went Gragas (#1 OP) but our Riven went ADC and even though we were losing the game and were getting outpressured, we fought till the win.

Remember the games are draft and it's at a pretty good elo, the derping is practically non-existant. We also had an AP Malphite support that game, except he was a huge part of our teamfighting. That's as derpy as it gets, really good out of meta theorycrafting. I played support Gangplank in those normals, the last lane I won was against Leona + Jinx (which apparently is the best lane in the game) and I'm pretty sure I'll bring him full time to ranked. There are dedicated normals players you know, wingsofdeathx and Meteos used to be ones. Mostly there's just less raging and another advantage is you sometimes play against better players and learn more. I do them because I've gotten used to them and there's no pressure.

I care because I am actually platinum on two servers, and you cannot back up your claim.
Playing with diamonds in normal queue means very little, sure its fun and you might learn something, but its not an accurate skill inidacator, because of people of varying skill duoing together. A diamond and his silver friend might get grouped with 3 golds against 5 plats to make the total mmr of both teams as close as possible, it doesnt mean those gold players are close in skill to either the platinums nor the diamond, theyre simply there as a counter weight, to bring the total mmr down to easier find a game. Also people tend to play champions theyre not that good with aswell, since theyre not "tryharding", so beating a diamond maining something completely different is not that big of a deal.

I don't think that line of thinking is entirely correct, if you play in an elo range consistently, you belong there. Yeah the enemy team doesn't always play on their main role, but neither does your team. And that's what the game is about in the end, finding a way to win. When I play against someone that isn't a jungle main, I can feel the difference but when someone is a jungle main and a good elo it's a really fantastic opportunity because you see things that you wouldn't have otherwise. Normals versus ranked really comes down to a matter of preference, you may not have very high quality games all of the time, but when you do you learn more. And where I'm at, you underestimate how many games are good quality. Plus I play 4 roles, you can't say I'm always on my best.

But what is the elo range when theres bronze duoing with diamonds? Its a compelte patchwork of varying skills put together to find a middle ground, two teams can have the same mmr but videly different skill individually. When you play ranked everyone is in the same bracket, when your playing normal there can be 2 challengers queing with 3 bronze friends, and they can in theory be against a team consisting of 1 diamond 1 platinum 1 gold and 1 silver. Thats an extreme case, but not far from reallity. Does that mean that everyone is a actually platinum(gold), because the combined elo is 1700?

They stole my blu, he was 2 levels ahead of me, he wanted to gank top double buffed and he didnt see me in the bush. I ulted his ass as soon he Q-ed Shen at tower. Boom-double kill. We got a bit ahead, took baron and then Draven wrecked the whole team.
Crowd control pretty much won the game, we out cc'ed em and draven would eat em. He even got a penta at last fight.

All right! Time to play 10 Gangplank games.

Okay it seems this is once again one of those "I no supp" seasons, 3 out of 4 games troll support. Well at least I won my lane in all games so I guess that bronze 5 is gonna be deserved.

Lol, one game and we have won our placements for 3v3. You know that pro team that used to run "protect the Vayne" comp? We're like that but it's "kill the opponents while they blow everything to kill Teemo - if they can".

Place a mushroom, I'll Skarner drag somebody over there. That's teamwork. Ctrl + 4.

Had a wonderful game with the Cursed Troll earlier. Enemy team was Volibear, Elise, Viktor, Jinx and Sona. Not one gap closer among them, except for Elise's Rappel. Good times for the poop pillar, especially when we had Ziggs, Janna, Caitlyn and Rengar as well. Good luck engaging. I guess the best thing to come out of this tanky top phase is that Trundle gets the chance to shine.

Seems you'll get ranked lower no matter how well you do. Currently 4-2 before ranked got disabled. Bronzordia, here I come

Not that bad, I was thinking I would end up in siver/bronze.

Damn, a horrible start here by rookie Wizfujiin who's known as Best Varus NA probably costing them the game, I can't watch the rest. :(

Yeah, I learned something about Varus. He has such safe range, all he did was freeze the lane close to his turret and afk farm.

I gave up like a pussy and switched over to manaless tops. Apparently Zac automatically crushes melee bruisers like Olaf and Renekton if they don't understand the matchup. Mundo though, what an asshole, he has longer range than Zac. Still beat him because they level 4 dove me with Sejuani, didn't even pop my passive for DOUBLE KILL!

Ranged magical damage, sustain, wave pushing power, initiation abilities, disruption and okay sustained damage. Seems like a top I should just basically main.

You forgot %hp damage. Awesome against the current meta.
He works better top I feel, the blob drop nerf makes it a fucking chore to jungle him.

So, hexakill mode. Probably temporary for Lunar Revel like the Showdown was for Snowdown. Sounds like it could be p. fun. I wonder what the best strategy is for a team of six; 2-1-2 + jungler, 1-1-2 + double jungle or one dedicated roamer, triolane or something else?

Also, shouldn't hexakills (and beyond!) already be technically possible if people use the superior Revive/TP summoner spells?

They are, but it just says LEGENDARY KILL.
I doubt they're pulling in the same voice actor again just for a single HEXAKILL line in a temporary gamemode, but who knows? They must be swimming in money, so they might do it.

No idea if they're using the same voice actor, but I'm fairly sure I've read that they are adding a hexakill message. Otherwise what would be the point?

EDIT: K, I SHOULD REALLY CHECK IF THERE ARE ANY NEW POSTS BEFORE HITTING REPLY. :M
