This is a joke, right?
The story and gameplay dissonance in GTAIV killed it for me. Trying to be serious in a GTA game is stupid. SR3 was just cheerfully mental and that's what I want from these games. At least Rockstar always tries to make satire, whereas SR is just outright stupid.
They wanted this to be an expansion. THQ decided to make it a sequel. Volition got DA2'd. I doubt most developers like having to rush out sequels since it's hard on their lives (no, they're not making it at a leisurely pace and lazing around half the day, laughing at all the suckers who are going to buy it at release) and compromises quality.I find the assumption that devs are poor little flowers who don't want to grab more money by dumbing down or exploiting (like in this case) their game funny as well.
Default male protagonist looks much better than the freak from SRTT so another potential improvement.
That's not a refutation. How are the developers getting extra money from SR4?^See that's what I'm talking about
Wrong on both counts.Roguey must be a student or work retail.
By not slaving in retail and signing good contracts instead? That's not a refutation. How are the developers getting extra money from SR4?
You're not even making any sense. What makes you think Volition has a good contract with Deep Silver? They didn't even have any say about who could buy them.By not slaving in retail and signing good contracts instead? That's not a refutation. How are the developers getting extra money from SR4?
They could still turn down the contract but since it was mostly done anyway I'm sure it was a SLAM DUNK for both parties. You're not even making any sense. People do enjoy working. Between choosing unemployment and making a bad game, most would choose the latter, sure. They could still turn down the contract but since it was mostly done anyway I'm sure it was a SLAM DUNK for both parties.
Strike three.Wrong on both counts.Roguey must be a student or work retail.
Unemployed.
