The combinations are as follows:

• Mixed Herb (G+G): Restores a moderate amount of health.
• Mixed Herb (G+R): Restores a massive amount of health.
• Mixed Herb (G+Y): Restores a small amount of health and increases Leon's maximum health.
• Mixed Herb (R+Y): Cannot be used unless a Green Herb is added.
• Mixed Herb (G+G+G): Restores a massive amount of health.
• Mixed Herb (G+G+Y): Restores a moderate amount of health and increases Leon's maximum health.
• Mixed Herb (G+R+Y): Restores a massive amount of health and increases Leon's maximum health.
• Brown eggs heal for medium health and white eggs heal for a small amount of health.

If u have the infinite harpoon you can also fish near docks and lakes, fish will heal you to yellow herb tier and can be sold for money to the merchant.

Not really, only few of the treasures can be combined with gems to increase their price and mostly of the time not worth the effort for some extra credits.
You can also buy a map for 3 Spinel by the castle stable as soon you cross the bridge and will mark all the treasures on the map for you.
