Kichikou Rance probably and Daibanchou (Big Bang Age) if you want similar gameplay to SR
02 is English translated, the MangaGamer isn't going to be much different. It's like around 5 hours though.
I assume you also played 5D as well
Original Rance III, IV, 4.1 and 4.2 are translated as well if you don't mind the old gameplay

Other than that you just got to wait or deal with machine translation

You could always play the originals. They're clunky, sure, but there's no issue running them on newer systems, they are all translated, and they're kinda charming in their own way. You'll also find out who all those characters you kept meeting in 6 and Sengoku are (and find out their massive backstories stretching over basically the entire series). You could always play Kichikuou, but keep in mind it's not canon and was originally meant as the climax of the series (when it looked like Alicesoft would go under, they made that game to sort of give stuff closure, then it was super successful and made them lots of money, and then they made it non-canon so as to be able to continue the series) and you'll meet a lot of characters from previous games, so the story may be confusing at times.

Not translating past that but tl;dr TADA has a chronic kidney condition. It won't get any better but he's changed up his eating habits so his kidneys won't deteriorate any further, so hopefully a transplant won't be necessary. He's feeling the effects of older age pretty badly these days.

A: There were no plans for her to revive after her defeat. Even if she was revived, without Masamune around, it was planned that she would destroy herself. Since the system of dying without a story did not go well, it was decided to let her live.

So after devoting some more time to Sengoku and seeing some of the other routes, I decided to branch out to Evenicle for a change of pace before circling back to playing through the rest of the Rance series. Have to say I ended up being fairly impressed, like most of my favourite H-games, the game really delivers on the humour front and the constant provision of ridiculous situations and that kept me playing through to the end.

Story was decent enough, a few unexpected surprises kept me playing all the way to the end. The Croix/Natal... "developments", being unavoidable wasn't great, and made me wish the game was less linear (or at least have some choices that aren't immediate bad endings). But, the dynamic between the main cast was really fun to experience and I'm again left coming away an AliceSoft game very impressed. I really wasn't sure what to expect going in, and wasn't initially sure on the low budget 3D models being used for the overworld and such but it grew on me, but the game's packed with cute waifus, lots of humour and enough serious moments to kept me trucking on till the end. Really felt like Natal was being set up as the next wife so many times through the game but I guess they didn't want to give you another combat capable wife and have to deal with switching the combat party I guess.

They could have ditched the loli content and random scene with Arthur as well and be left with a better game imo, I ended up skipping through a few Guri scenes & a Towa one as I didn't much care for them. Random difficulty spike for the last boss wasn't fun either, ended up cheat-engining some extra EXP just to save time.

Anyways, good game overall, hopefully the sequel will get localised at some point (no clue if it's a direct sequel or something else entirely), gonna get back to playing through Rance next. Apologies this isn't strictly Rance related, but I dunno if there's an active alicesoft thread on Codex.

Replayed SR again, this time with MangaGamer's translation instead of the fan one. It's... different. Not in a bad way, just different – it reads a lot more "western" if that makes any sense, with a lot of the Japanese language leftovers and peculiarities being translated or replaced. Pretty solid work overall. There's also some minor polish added from what I've noticed, but nothing important.

Story was decent enough

Couldn't stand it, personally. It just seemed incredibly retarded to me. Though that was possibly just a side effect of me really, really hating Evenicle protagonist.

-Gon (Ryo mentioned lifting his curse but there were never any follow-up events that I could see)
-Mine (Ryo-whatever changed back to a girl and got together with the other guy). Guessing this character can only be cleared by making Ryo a man? No H-scene for her?
-Teru (stuck at Trust)
-Kiku (stuck at Normal)

Pretty much exhausted everything else I can do in this playthrough (except dungeons which I've slacked off on). Only got the Orochi dungeon and Eyeball clan to take over left in the route.

Worst game in the series, tbh. But the story is fun and worth playing through for sure.

That's about my experience with it too. Feels more like an experiment in randomness than a working game.

According to this Rance 1 is out of beta and it looks like Rance 2 is about to be done. Hopefully that means it'll pop sooner then later.

The people demand at least one rance game per year!

I like 5D... Bird and Copa are a great comedic duo, and there's a ton of hidden side content

Only wish there was a Hard Mode since the default difficulty is a pushover.
