So much for supercharged pc.
Xbox One and PS4 Are "A Generation Ahead" Of PC
Electronic Arts Chief Technology Officer Rajat Taneja says the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 will outgun even the most powerful PCs on the market today.
Codexers, what's your opinion on the possibility of Fallout 4 offering you the option of playing a Ghoul or a Mutie?
In one hand, it would break the tradition of every Fallout game having you as a human. On the other hand, it could provide a lot of replayability - think of VtM: Bloodlines, where playing with different clans changed significantly the gameplay and how the world reacted to you. Then again, we're dealing with Bethesda - we can't really expect the same level of conversations and writing as VtM:B.

Outgun at what?
Social gaming?
Cloud gaming?
Worse, more sluggish UI (have you guys used the XB1 UI? Holy SHIT)?
Making the user look like a complete douchebag?
Clearly some context is missing. Chief "Technology" Officer... what a laugh.

And how many people game on an über-expensive High-end laptop with a 880M?
How is that relevent to the question of whether The One(tm)/PS4 are more powerful than top-end PCs?
How can mods fix Bethesda games if modding is intrinsic to them?Which bethesda game have mods fixed, ever?
Bottom line is, for the price of $400 the PS4 provides excellent overall value. But that's only relevant if you're cheapo. Everyone else plays on a Desktop like a proper man.
Anyone expecting a system that draws ~120-150W power to exceed performance of a dedicated PC sucking at least twice that amount is a) either clueless or b) having a $$$ agenda to adhere.
